the concept of warrior human/healer klingon is SO cute. i think kyle unfortunately ate shit in ep 6 by getting part of his leg chomped off (like with the technology they have available to them, if it was bad enough to scar i imagine it was pretty bad), but dzolo did say he was THE best of war college.

so like just the idea of kyle fighting fiercely to protect jay-den, and jay-den being super into it. like it 100% makes sense that jay-den would be attracted to someone who’s a great fighter.

Been seeing a lot of "maybe jay+den just thinks he SHOULD like Kyle because Kyle likes him" and like, I understand the jay-den/darem hype I'm about it too, but let's not rewrite every interaction Kyle and jay-den have had up until now? at no point has jay-den seemed like he didn't want to talk to Kyle or was uncomfortable with his attention. Awkward, certainly but as they get to know each other you can see his confidence growing, a la when they're on the Miyazaki and Kyle gets injured and they're flirting over his injury. Like, let's not rewrite the show to fit whatever tropes we've decided are happening
