Music Bank in Kyeongju 161118
Gaaaah finally I finished my assignments!!
Was this our first concert? No! This was our second time to go to concert in Korea, after the JJCC guerrilla concert back in 2015. And after missing tons of concerts, we finally got to go to one! On 18th of November, we got to go to Music Bank in Kyeongju! It’s all thanks to Ria (언니 xD), who informed us about free tickets from Korea Tourism Organisation. All we had to do was to fill a form with our email and our passport numbers.
Unfortunately, we have classes on Friday so we couldn’t go in the morning (Ria and some of our friends left early in the morning and they got good spots lol). We left from Hayang at around 1:30 pm (we missed the 1:05 pm bus lol), and arrived around 2 in Kyeongju. Using my tour guide skill (LOL) and help from Laras, we reached the place in no time. We then waited for an hour until we finally got to enter the venue.
The concert hadn’t started but I was very excited BECAUSE while we’re waiting to enter the venue... I SAW SF9. Taeyang, Rowoon and Chanhee were peeking from inside the venue. I tried to call them but maybe my voice wasn’t loud enough (Laras even screamed for Zuho, her favourite member). We made people around us confused, because it seemed that they didn’t know who SF9 was, and some of them asked us “who are they?” and Laras and I just answered “new rookies.” Lol.
Suddenly it was raining. Fortunately the committee had given us raincoats. And fortunately the weather wasn’t really that cold.
After 40 minutes waiting in line, we finally got to enter the venue. It was really chaotic, people started to run to get the best view although we had already given section numbers (WE GOT SECTION C WHICH NOT SO FAR FROM THE STAGE YAY). I was separated from Laras and Uthi. Sigh. Then I joined the other three of my friends.
We stood so far from the stage, but I think the view was not really bad. The concert immediately started.
IT WAS REALLY FUN. We then got in line to exit the venue. There was soooo many people, and it was dark, plus it was raining and the road was really slippery. We got separated from said three friends and I got panic, because they can’t speak any Korean (they’re exchange students who just came to Korea two months ago but they did study Korean I don’t know anymore--plus they were walking in front of us and they didn’t pay attention to us but I also at fault because I didn’t tell them where to meet). THEY WERE MY RESPONSIBILITY.
But then, I followed Laras and Uthi’s suggestions (because apparently shouting their name at random people wasn’t a good idea). We decided to eat something first because we were starving, and look for them again. Thank God one of them saw my message. We then met again in some Chinese restaurant, ate together and then ran to catch the bus to Hayang.
Today, overall, was a great day. Although it was tiring (+ I almost got heart attack because of the three friends), I GOT TO SEE (FINALLY) EXO, BAP, BASTARZ, VIXX, BTS, UP10TION, AND THE OTHERS LIVE. All of them, in just one coming(?). I never thought I could see KNK, SF9, SNUPER and IMFACT. And today was also the day I opened my heart to VICTON (lol). And finally I feel happy about, well, staying in Korea (I just lmfao-ing myself)
I’m looking forward to go to another concert in the future. I hope the idols are generous enough to hold concerts we can really go to. Lol again.

I’ve been to Gyeongju World (경주월드) twice, once on a sunny day and another time on a rainy day. It’s a quick trip from Busan and I had a blast both times. It’s a nice alternative if one doesn’t want to go all the up to Seoul for Everland and Lotte World.
There is a decent collection of carnival rides and attractions at Gyeongju World. Something to keep in mind is that three of the coasters opened over 20 years ago -one is nearly 30 years old!-so they’re pretty tame. None of them will be running on a rainy day though, just so you know.
Their water park, California Beach (캘리포니아비치) is not as good as Everland’s Caribbean Bay or the Gimhae Lotte Water Park (김해롯데워터파크), so steer clear.
I’ve always wanted to take a picture next to Kyeongju (Gyeongju?) Tower (경주타워), because I love how the building has a giant pagoda cut right out of the middle. A year ago, Justin snapped this photo of us on a rainy day.
An Evening in Kyeongju von Jason Teale This is a special place and really worth the visit.
