Heath makes contact with Alanon while he’s trying to connect with his dad’s mind. Alanon says he would advise Percy on what to do for Adam. Alanon also warned him that Alessandro was on his way to Bridgeport as Adam’s presence had been noticed and word sent. Heath and Don discuss their feelings and Don admits to being pregnant. Heath makes him promise to go to Dragon Valley where he could be safe and get proper medical care. 

Don tells his parents he is going to Dragon Valley as it’s the best place for him and the baby. He’ll be protected and cloaked by the dragons because of his relationship with Heath. Until Heath can join him/ Shon is going to stay with him. Elliot and Kyle meet them and escort them to the house they found for them. 

Heath and Percy meet Alanon at the portal. Alanon notices that Heath has a headache and suspects that Adam is trying to connect with him. He asks them to wait until they can combine their powers. Adam and Ambrogio sense the barricade around their shared consciousness is weakening

Alanon. Percy and Heath try to form a connection with Adam but are unable to break through the barrier. Alessandro breaks through and threatens Adam to either submit to his will or watch all his loved ones be drained or turned. 

Meanwhile Silver contacts Heath and makes a deal to tell him how to wake Adam in exchange for time to finish bonding with his daughter. Once the bond is complete he’ll bring to him. He agrees and Adam wakes up in the hospital in time to see Alessandro attack Beverly.

Dorsey, Shen and Bella looked at each other. "What now?"

"We do this fairly," Gene said. "You've all come so far. You each cook your heart out and we get a winner."

"Yes, but the show has been cancelled," Shen said. "No one will air this."

"My social media is pretty popular," Caleb said. "We can post it up there and get people to share it. It's not official, but after how hard you've each worked, I think you deserve to have a winner crowned."

"No restaurant though," Gene said. "But, who knows what will come of this?"

"I guess I'm in," Bella said. "What do I have to lose?"

Dorsey nodded. "Me too."

"Yeah, the hell not?" Shen scratched his head. "Let's do this damn thing."

William and Bryan were forced to leave with the alien who is suffering from the same insanity that is killing his people. Slowly the cure that was released begins to reverse the insanity and when he comes to his senses he returns to Oasis Landing to help Peter. Once cured Peter and William are sent to guard the time portale while Emit and the Alien go to free supernatural children that are being held hostage so that Logan can control Moonlight Falls.

Meanwhile Adam becomes the adopted son of Allessandro the Esteemed One of Moonlight Falls and he chooses Percy to be his advisor instead of allowing him to be adopted and become part of the pack of werewolves. 

Excerpt from the chapter: “With this bite we bind you to us and us to you. Where ever you are in time or space we are connected. When you call we will come. The essence which is you remains the same. Alessandro was handed a ceremonial dagger standing he approached the men “with this dagger I let blood flow from you to your advisor.” With a swift and deft hand he slashed their wrists. Selene stepped forward bringing their wrists together “As your blood mixes and becomes one so do you also. You are bound together through time and space. In this dimension and in all others. Where one goes the other goes. When one is hurt the other hurts. It is an unbreakable bond till one or the other dies.”

Chase starts to have doubts about what he is doing and pulls off the road to think. Unfortunately his contacts sent men out to intercept him and take him and his captives prisoner to Moonlight Falls instead of Midnight Hollow. He explains to Elliot that if they had gone to Midnight hollow he and Percy would have been killed. The one main law is no humans are allowed in unless mated to an IF or hafling or an IF/hafling who has hurt another IF/halfling. Meanwhile Elliot is concerned about Kyle’s health as he’s been sick. Chase tells him that there’s nothing wrong with him that 9 months wouldn’t cure. That’s when Kyle realizes he’s pregnant. As a halfling he has the unique ability to have children regardless of gender.

Meanwhile Adam was becoming more suspicious of ‘Emit’. They stopped and ‘Emit’ got out of the car telling Adam to stay. Adam decides it would be best to leave but ‘Emit’ sneaks up behind him and knocks him out Adam wakes up in the same dungeon as the others. Happy to see Elliot despite being locked up. He tells Chase who his real father is Emit and that Logan lied to him. Donna was Emit’s IF doll and all IFs once they became real turned on the ones who made them real. Donna did that by stealing Emi’ts research and giving it Logan who repaid her by killing her. Logan appears in their cell pleased with how well his plan is going, telling them that in the future he and the Watchers are creating and how Peter is the only left to stand in their way. 

Peter and William arrive in Oasis Landing with the alien timekeeper who is acting even more erratic than he was before. Peter helps them get the alien ship fight worth with the help of William’s son is able to control it. When it’s finished the alien betrays them and hands Peter over to the Watchers in exchange of being able to release the cure and keep William and his son for himself.

After the trial Brian receives a call from Shannon regarding an intruder. Brain and Peter rush off to help her. Percy noticing them leave recalls seeing a blue haired loan shark in the courtroom earlier. Feeling he has put Brian’s family in danger he borrows Corina’s car. Elliot and Kyle follow him and get in the car just before he takes off. When they arrive at the house a police officer is there to greet them. Instead of helping them they soon realize the cop is an imposter and before they can react they are handcuffed and stuffed into a car. 

Meanwhile Emit is reviving Peter and Brian inside the house who have been knocked out. Emit promises Peter to find his son while he goes into the future to release the cure.

Peter goes home to Dragon Valley to tell Jean that their son Elliot has been kidnapped. She becomes angry when Peter tells her that he is going to the future to release the cure instead of searching for their son. He reminds her if he doesn’t release the cure then Elliot’s kidnappers win. She angrily tells him not to come without her son.

Peter flies to Lucky Palms to pick up William and his son to go into the future. William tries to convince to put off going to the future to search for his son. The alien timekeeper is there and holds William’s youngest daughter hostage forcing them to go. Casey, another of William’s son’s comes into the house to check on them. Taking advantage of the distraction the alien shoots Peter with a degenerate ray that will cause a slow painful death if not reversed, exchanging the daughter with Peter as his hostage to get William to agree to come with him once the cure is released.

Emit goes to Dragon Valley to get Adam to search for Elliot. Adam is unwilling to leave his family as Beverly is now pregnant with their first child but she urges him to go. He goes with Emit only to realize his life is about to change forever. Emit is taking him to Moonlight Falls, a town steeped in superstition and supernaturals. He has a meeting with the town elders in the hopes that they’ll get the approval to be turned so they can continue their search in Midnight Hollow the home of Imaginary Friends where no human lives or survives.

Heath takes Kimberly to his grandparents home to have Jean look at Kimberly’s arm. Not broken but severely bruised. Heath feels the absence of Peter even more being in his old lab and wonders when if ever he’ll be able to come home.

Don, Elliot and Kyle are outside an old cabin they suspect Mr. Lawrence is spending the night in. Don sneaks up to a window to confirm that he’s in there but he can’t see Gwen. It’s not a large cabin so if Gwen isn’t inside the cabin then she must still be inside the car.

Elliot moved towards the front of the car to release the trunk while Don and Kyle prepared to get Gwen out as quietly and quickly as possible. Holding Gwen Kyle is forced to choose between his husband and daughter as his father threatened to break Elliot’s arm if he didn’t send Gwen back to him. Instead he tells Gwen to take Don’s hand and to run when he tells her to.

Don has to pickup Gwen to keep her from running back to her parents. While they’re running away they encounter Percy and Henry as they come to rescue them. They send Gwen back home with Henry while they turn back to search for Kyle and Elliot suspecting that Mr. Lawrence had taken Gwen to get Kyle in the open and they walked right into his trap.

Mr. Lawrence snaps Elliots arm and offers Kyle a choice. Either take Elliot with them and watch him suffer or leave him behind and end his suffering now. They are joined by the mole in the police department who tells him he has a hole already dug for Elliot and Kyle decides Elliot was better coming with.

Percy casts a tracking spell so they can follow Mr. Lawrence and his captives.

Kyle and Elliot continued their hike across the mountains leading out of Dragon Valley. Kyle refuses to leave Elliot behind as that’s what Mr Lawrence wants him to do.

Percy finds a block against his magic.

Heath and Henry come up with a plan to find where Mr Lawrence will come out of the mountains and be ready for them.

Percy and Don talk about his relationship with Heath. Don realizes he fears that he manipulated Heath into having a relationship with him. He was using Heath’s request to sort out his feelings as an excuse to push him away.

Five years pass in relative peace. Heath is preparing to join his brother Quentin and best friend Don at College now that he is eighteen. Walking outside the house he finds Dana walking towards him. Don isn’t far behind her hoping to get there before she did. She accuses Don of being in love with Heath but he didn’t have a chance because she always gets what she wants. Heath tells her to leave because he wasn’t interested and that he and Don were best friends.

Leaving she warns Don not to get in her way. She gets into a taxi who takes her to the airport instead of her hotel. She is informed she is banned from Dragon Valley for threatening a protected family. Don joins her to escort her home. They are met at the airport in Bridgeport by a woman that looks vaguely familiar but before Don is able to figure out who she is he loses consciousness.

Don wakes up locked inside a windowless cell where he realizes he is going to be for a while as food was delivered in a slot. Meanwhile Dana is talking to his abductor. Dana realizes that the woman who met them at the airport was Heath’s mother, Windy. Windy is using Don as bait to lure Heath there and once she has Heath she’s confident that Adam will follow. Dana doesn’t care who gets hurt as long as she gets Heath in the end and agrees to help.

Days later Heath receives a text message from Don’s phone. Instead of the expected details of college life he finds out Don is being held hostage in Midnight Hollow and to come alone. He confides in Quentin who is home from college. Quentin agrees to help him but they worry about Adam reading Heath’s mind and Quentin knocks Heath out to keep his mind quiet. Heath comes to when they are about to port to Bridgeport.

(Chapter 41 - Finale)

It’s been over a year since Adam was bitten by Alessandro and he continues to fight to finish the transformation by feeding. He has refused to go home to his Beverly and the children for fear of losing control and hurting them. He has forbidden anyone to tell Beverly what has happened to him. Heath and Beverly decide that next time William visits them they will follow him in the hopes he will lead him to Adam. One night Adam watches over them outside the house refusing to go inside but needing to be near them. Refusing to leave when the sun rises he lays down hoping he’ll combust in the heat of the sun not wanting to live this life. Heath finds him and calls Beverly to help him. Ambrogio reaches out to Heath and helps him to connect to Adam’s mind and he helps him regain a small part of himself giving him the will to live, to fight. 

Beverly works on creating a blood substitute so that Adam can feed without ingesting blood. However in order for it to work she needs plasma fruit. Heath volunteers to go but Beverly refuses to let him go alone. Kyle volunteers to go with him. Together in toy form they could go undetected. 

Heath, Kyle and Chase travel to Monte Vista to find plasma fruit. They are captured by a pack of werewolves sent there by Alessandro to destroy all the plasma fruit and turn any who go there to harvest the fruit. Unable to turn haflings they are ordered to send the halflings to Midnight Hollow to render into Imaginary Friend dolls. Heath connects to a young werewolf asking for his help. Quentin and his father help them to escape. In the escape process Quentin’s father is killed but not before he is able to give his son the last of the plasma fruit he managed to save from being destroyed. 

With the plasma fruit Beverly is able to create a blood substitute. Adam is able to feed without ingesting blood. He offers Quentin a home. To become part of the family. Beverly and Adam talk after so long confirming their love for each other.
