William and Bryan were forced to leave with the alien who is suffering from the same insanity that is killing his people. Slowly the cure that was released begins to reverse the insanity and when he comes to his senses he returns to Oasis Landing to help Peter. Once cured Peter and William are sent to guard the time portale while Emit and the Alien go to free supernatural children that are being held hostage so that Logan can control Moonlight Falls.

Meanwhile Adam becomes the adopted son of Allessandro the Esteemed One of Moonlight Falls and he chooses Percy to be his advisor instead of allowing him to be adopted and become part of the pack of werewolves. 

Excerpt from the chapter: “With this bite we bind you to us and us to you. Where ever you are in time or space we are connected. When you call we will come. The essence which is you remains the same. Your human family is yours still. Mother, father, brother, sister, wife, son and daughter. Their love for you and yours for them holds you true and does not change but makes you stronger. What you were still is and what you will be enhances what you are. You are son of Alessandro and Selene. Prince of all vampires here and elsewhere in time and space, dimension or universe. All will bow to you and do your will or face our wrath.”

Alessandro was handed a ceremonial dagger standing he approached the men “with this dagger I let blood flow from you to your advisor.” With a swift and deft hand he slashed their wrists. Selene stepped forward bringing their wrists together “As your blood mixes and becomes one so do you also. You are bound together through time and space. In this dimension and in all others. Where one goes the other goes. When one is hurt the other hurts. It is an unbreakable bond till one or the other dies.”

Chase starts to have doubts about what he is doing and pulls off the road to think. Unfortunately his contacts sent men out to intercept him and take him and his captives prisoner to Moonlight Falls instead of Midnight Hollow. He explains to Elliot that if they had gone to Midnight hollow he and Percy would have been killed. The one main law is no humans are allowed in unless mated to an IF or hafling or an IF/hafling who has hurt another IF/halfling. Meanwhile Elliot is concerned about Kyle’s health as he’s been sick. Chase tells him that there’s nothing wrong with him that 9 months wouldn’t cure. That’s when Kyle realizes he’s pregnant. As a halfling he has the unique ability to have children regardless of gender.

Meanwhile Adam was becoming more suspicious of ‘Emit’. They stopped and ‘Emit’ got out of the car telling Adam to stay. Adam decides it would be best to leave but ‘Emit’ sneaks up behind him and knocks him out Adam wakes up in the same dungeon as the others. Happy to see Elliot despite being locked up. He tells Chase who his real father is Emit and that Logan lied to him. Donna was Emit’s IF doll and all IFs once they became real turned on the ones who made them real. Donna did that by stealing Emi’ts research and giving it Logan who repaid her by killing her. Logan appears in their cell pleased with how well his plan is going, telling them that in the future he and the Watchers are creating and how Peter is the only left to stand in their way. 

Peter and William arrive in Oasis Landing with the alien timekeeper who is acting even more erratic than he was before. Peter helps them get the alien ship fight worth with the help of William’s son is able to control it. When it’s finished the alien betrays them and hands Peter over to the Watchers in exchange of being able to release the cure and keep William and his son for himself.

After the trial Brian receives a call from Shannon regarding an intruder. Brain and Peter rush off to help her. Percy noticing them leave recalls seeing a blue haired loan shark in the courtroom earlier. Feeling he has put Brian’s family in danger he borrows Corina’s car. Elliot and Kyle follow him and get in the car just before he takes off. When they arrive at the house a police officer is there to greet them. Instead of helping them they soon realize the cop is an imposter and before they can react they are handcuffed and stuffed into a car. 

Meanwhile Emit is reviving Peter and Brian inside the house who have been knocked out. Emit promises Peter to find his son while he goes into the future to release the cure.

Peter goes home to Dragon Valley to tell Jean that their son Elliot has been kidnapped. She becomes angry when Peter tells her that he is going to the future to release the cure instead of searching for their son. He reminds her if he doesn’t release the cure then Elliot’s kidnappers win. She angrily tells him not to come without her son.

Peter flies to Lucky Palms to pick up William and his son to go into the future. William tries to convince to put off going to the future to search for his son. The alien timekeeper is there and holds William’s youngest daughter hostage forcing them to go. Casey, another of William’s son’s comes into the house to check on them. Taking advantage of the distraction the alien shoots Peter with a degenerate ray that will cause a slow painful death if not reversed, exchanging the daughter with Peter as his hostage to get William to agree to come with him once the cure is released.

Emit goes to Dragon Valley to get Adam to search for Elliot. Adam is unwilling to leave his family as Beverly is now pregnant with their first child but she urges him to go. He goes with Emit only to realize his life is about to change forever. Emit is taking him to Moonlight Falls, a town steeped in superstition and supernaturals. He has a meeting with the town elders in the hopes that they’ll get the approval to be turned so they can continue their search in Midnight Hollow the home of Imaginary Friends where no human lives or survives.

Due to extreme stress Adam’s paralysis came back. Once his stress levels come down the doctor’s feel he’ll be able to walk again. Heath starts to call Beverly “mom” and for some reason Adam seems to be happy with that turn of events. Beverly takes Heath to buy a gift for Irissa. They run into a young man who tries to abduct them but Emit stops him. Emit reveals that the young man is his son, Chase Mars. 

Emit gives Heath a teddy bear to give to his sister. They all go back to Adam’s room where Emit tells him about Chase being his son and how he tried to abduct Heath and Beverly from the hospital. 

Emit confides in Adam his own family history. His father discovered time travel and was on the verge of making the first flight when The Watchers took notice of his work and wanted it for themselves. Trying to protect his family his father moved them all to Lunar Lakes. The Watchers found them setting fire to the house they were in. Emit’s mother was able to throw Emit from the house but the fall damaged his memory and his older brother Logan was taken and raised by The Watchers. Emit was found by the same alien time traveler that Adam met on the alien ship. He raised and taught Emit everything he knew about time travel. Emit forgot who he and his family,  being only three years old when all of this happened. His only friend was an old doll the alien gave him to play with. Later he discovered a potion that turned the doll real. He loved her and thought she loved him. Donna eventually turned on him and The Watchers came and stole all his work giving them the ability to time travel as well. It wasn’t until he met Chase that he wondered what happened to Donna. He learned that she had been killed by someone called Zedekiah Van Winkle. That was the trigger his memory needed and Zedekiah was the name his mother gave him. Logan was the one who killed her and raised his son, Chase filling his mind with lies about Emit and how he killed his mother. Chase developed a hatred for all things Van Winkle.

Keenan and Adam find themselves in a different room in an unknown place. Adam suggests they rest as he’s positive they’ll receive a visit from the woman who took them from Silver and he wants to be well rested when they talk.

Alanon is trying to keep the peace between humans and supernaturals as the werewolves and vampires plan to attack, sure that Adam’s disappearance is caused by humans.

Peter figures out how to operate the portal only to discover someone had closed their dimension so they still can’t go home. Malachi descends into despair as he realizes he will remain a 19 year old trapped inside a toddler’s body. He and Kimberly will never be together.  Don as a teenager knows that this is a blessing in disguise for him and Heath, giving them more time together before he eventually grows old dies

Quinn and Phoenix enjoy one last interlude before breaking things off between them. They know to continue their illicit affair only endangers the dimensions they are protecting.

Quinn returns to her dimension to find Caleb Gray in Moonlight Falls looking for a way to bring his children home from the future. She offers help if he agrees to her terms. He’s reluctant to believe her until she brings Emmaline there and he knows that he’ll do whatever she asks of him to bring his son home too.

Quinn goes to Adam and Keenan. She tries to get Keenan to lose his temper by telling him how much he’s like Silver. Adam keeps it from going too far. She gives them amulets to hide them from Silver but Adam almost refuses as it puts the rest of his family in more danger as Silver could use them to get to him. She explains it’s necessary in order for Adam to restore peace in Moonlight Falls and keep them going to war. It’s then that Adam realizes how much time has gone by. What felt like a couple of days to them was several months.

Kimberly is taken prisoner by the werewolves and thrown into the dungeons beneath the castle.

Quinn goes to Caleb to see if he’s ready to agree to her terms. Save his family in exchange for one of his grandchildren. She’ll use them to travel through time fixing the timeline from all the errors that Emit missed. 

Chase meets Quinn and knows that once a dimension watcher is awakened how close their dimension is to being reset destroying everything and everyone in it. She tells him that his daughters are creating an imbalance as they neither belong in the present nor the future. She promises to give him time to train them to be timekeepers then they must go to Phoenix’s dimension where it’ll balance both dimensions.

It’s been over a year since Adam was bitten by Alessandro and he continues to fight to finish the transformation by feeding. He has refused to go home to his Beverly and the children for fear of losing control and hurting them. He has forbidden anyone to tell Beverly what has happened to him. Heath and Beverly decide that next time William visits them they will follow him in the hopes he will lead him to Adam. One night Adam watches over them outside the house refusing to go inside but needing to be near them. Refusing to leave when the sun rises he lays down hoping he’ll combust in the heat of the sun not wanting to live this life. Heath finds him and calls Beverly to help him. Ambrogio reaches out to Heath and helps him to connect to Adam’s mind and he helps him regain a small part of himself giving him the will to live, to fight. 

Beverly works on creating a blood substitute so that Adam can feed without ingesting blood. However in order for it to work she needs plasma fruit. Heath volunteers to go but Beverly refuses to let him go alone. Kyle volunteers to go with him. Together in toy form they could go undetected. 

Heath, Kyle and Chase travel to Monte Vista to find plasma fruit. They are captured by a pack of werewolves sent there by Alessandro to destroy all the plasma fruit and turn any who go there to harvest the fruit. Unable to turn haflings they are ordered to send the halflings to Midnight Hollow to render into Imaginary Friend dolls. Heath connects to a young werewolf asking for his help. Quentin and his father help them to escape. In the escape process Quentin’s father is killed but not before he is able to give his son the last of the plasma fruit he managed to save from being destroyed. 

With the plasma fruit Beverly is able to create a blood substitute. Adam is able to feed without ingesting blood. He offers Quentin a home. To become part of the family. Beverly and Adam talk after so long confirming their love for each other.

Adam and Percy are returned to the dungeon. They awaken to find their heads full of knowledge they didn’t have before. They not only have a telepathic connection to each other but Selene and Alessandro are inside their minds as well. Alessandro is urging Adam to feed upon one of the prisoners to complete his transformation. He is fighting the urge but his control is slipping until another voice enters his mind, someone by the name of Ambrogio. William joins them in their dungeon after returning the children who were kidnapped. Alessandro tells him his reward will be his son’s first kill. He attacks Elliot, biting him telling Adam to follow his example and drain William and truly become his son. Adam refuses and Ambrogio once again intervenes. Percy does his first magic by freezing Alessandro and leading the way from the dungeon. 

Alanon arrives as they are blocked at the top of the stairs leading out of the dungeon. He claims to be there to help as Percy lacks the ability on his own to perform any powerful spells without his help and Alanon was boosting his abilities. 

Ambrogio reaches out to Adam telling him how he can help Elliot but at the cost to himself. He can take Elliot’s bloodlust upon himself, saving him from becoming a vampire at the cost of his humanity. Adam agrees to finish the bond he started and took the bloodlust upon himself. 

They escape and hide out in Alanon’s house that had many protective charms and spells on it. Alanon put a spell upon Adam keeping him unconscious to keep Alessandro from reaching out to him and finding out where they were hiding. Alanon made arrangements for them to go to Dragon Valley as the dragons would help shield them from Alessandro and his people.
