My brother is wonderful.

We were talking about Ed Sheeran and how he wants to go to his concert, then he asked me about my love life, and I was like "I exchanged words with a cute boy today." And then when on to tell him how I sorta talked to a really cute boy this weekend and today. And then he told me to ask him if he wants to tongue wrestle or invite him to a party in my pants. I then told him he was a great brother who gave wonderful advice, but how he was distracting me from my english assignment on Star Wars, and he ended the message with "and may the force be with you." 

I miss him.

It sucks cause we get along so much better now that he is in Arizona. I just wish our relationship was as good when we are sharing a wall, not the internet.

No, it's cool, I honestly don't think that or judge you! Hey, I just spent twenty minutes writing about why I sometimes watch television, and television is definitely way less important to my life than a relationship would be (or should be to anyone), so, you know. Do what you need to do and what feels right to you.

As far as someone never having had these kinds of conversations before: everyone has to start somewhere, and starting young is way better than trying to start later in life. (For example, talking to my dad and uncles about anything meaningful is a lot like I'd imagine talking to Anthony Bourdain would be like.)

I don't know if it's better to be around a dude who's never had these kinds of conversations before, or a dude who has and has thus learned how to regurgitate the rhetoric (which often involves him superficially agreeing with you to mask his bad behavior, or better yet, twisting the concepts to justify them).

I would definitely rather hang out with the dudes I know who do not know feminism at all (I was able to successfully explain the concepts of both "rape" and "homosexuality" to them, and although it's sad that it took me to do this, they actually seemed to learn something from it), or with my "Somewhat-Politically-Correct Redneck" friends, than I would with antifeminists, dudes who get aggro about feminism, dudes who are proudly idiotic regarding their personal conduct, or dudes who do horrid shit and then use social-justice language to gaslight people about how it's actually okay or even "revolutionary." (See Hugo Schwyzer, Kyle Payne, the SDS, or any manarchist for further evidence regarding the latter category.)
