8| flowers are super hard but also acorn, daisy, nightshade, sage, yarrow for Kyle and Luke
KYLE
Acorn: What would your character do if they lived forever?
Shit that’s a hard one. Kyle would learn. I mean, she would throw herself into academia. She would fill in the holes in her education, learn things she was supposed to have learned when she was younger and everything she’s ever wanted to know since then. Kyle is not educated but she is also very bright and despises feeling like she’s being outpaced by other people.
Daisy: Four things that make your character happy.
Her camera.
Vodka
Long, quiet car rides.
And eventually (way later in the future), Joseph (“Yeah, sure, I guess. Whatever,” she says.)
Nightshade: What is a painful truth your character has had to face?
That one fundamental truth she’s built her life on since she was fourteen might not be entirely accurate. Maybe, just maybe, somewhere out there, there is a god. Maybe.
Sage: What is one thing they have learnt?
She’s learned a lot. Recently she started reading about presidents and thinks that Lincoln was really interesting.
Yarrow: What would your character go to war over?
If she cold utterly dismantle the cult she was born into, she would. She would go to war with a sub machine gun to make sure that the megalomaniac that somehow convinced hundreds and hundreds of people that he is the messiah couldn’t manipulate and hurt anyone else.
LUKE
Acorn: What would your character do if they lived forever?
Luke absolutely does not want to live forever.
Daisy: Four things that make your character happy.
Rook
Sleep
Rook’s pillow
Stupid movies
Nightshade: What is a painful truth your character has had to face?
His sexuality, honestly. It’s been one of the hardest things he’s had to deal with in his life, made ten times harder by foster parents who really, really fucked him up by trying to “fix him.”
Sage: What is one thing they have learnt?
He’s still struggling to learn how to deal with his anger. When he was in high school he really had to learn that he can’t fight his way out of every shitty circumstance and he can’t go around slamming assholes heads into cafeteria tables because it could always fall back on Rook and Rook could get in trouble, or worse have his guardianship revoked.
Yarrow: What would your character go to war over?
Luke is aggressive and angry, but there are few things in his life that he cares enough about to go to war over. Probably the only thing he’d actually ever fight to keep is Rook.
