We Can Work It Out // Kyle & Zoey
Zoey sat against the headboard of his bed, her knees tucked under her chin as she watched the flickering of the TV. Glee was on Fox, and Zoey found herself laughing as Finn attempted to convince Rachel to allow him use of her bathroom. Turning her head to look at Kyle, she saw that his expression was rather poised, and she raised her eyebrows, wondering what might be bothering him. Deciding not to prod, Zoey turned back to the TV as the commercials began, and Zoey put the TV on mute, having always disliked the commercials that repeated themselves on this particular channel. As the television turned quiet, an awkward silence fell between the two, and Zoey let it carry on, until she couldn't take it any longer. Swinging her legs over him so that she was facing him, Zoey bit her lip and decided to go for it. "What's bothering you, Ky?" she asked, not even having to ask if whether he was alright in the first place. There was clearly something wrong, and she wanted to soothe him of whatever it was that's bothering him.
