Kyle Kore’s Halloween count down!

There are 3 days until Halloween! Today I put together a witch inspired display with “Witch finger cookies” and “witch’s brew cocktails,” paired with creepy Jell-O shots. Check out the recipes below and share if you like them <3

WITCH FINGER COOKIES

WITCH’S BREW COCKTAIL

Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

8 medium kiwifruit, peeled and quartered

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

Green food coloring, optional

1 cup vodka, optional

1 liter ginger ale, chilled

Ice cubes

Instructions

In a small saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved; set aside to cool.

Place the kiwi, mint and sugar syrup in a blender; cover and process until blended. Tint green if desired. Pour into a large pitcher; stir in vodka if desired. Refrigerate until chilled.

Just before serving, stir in ginger ale. Serve over ice. Yield: 6 servings.

CREEPY JELL-O SHOTS

Ingredients

3 ounces Jell-O or other gelatin (any flavor)

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup (4 ounces) vodka (or other distilled spirit)

1/2 cup cold water

Gummy worms (optional)

Instructions

Chill the liquor and cold water mix in the refrigerator so they are a consistent temperature.

Pour gelatin into a bowl.

Add boiling water, stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

Stir in chilled liquor and water mix and food coloring (optional).

Pour into shot glasses, molds, or a baking pan for a sheet of Jell-O to cut up once set. Tip: The small, plastic shot cups are perfect because the drinker can just squeeze the shot out.

Drop in gummy worms if applicable

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (2-3 recommended)
