OC question time! If you would like one and for anyone you'd like to talk about.
If they were able to write a letter that could magically get delivered with no limitations (ie: to someone who is deceased, to someone from the past or future, to someone in an alternate reality, etc) who would they write to? What would they say? Would they stress out about writing it or just stream of conscious style?
bonus: a blurb of the letter, plus two Vie letters
In Dragon of Time, Vielcos would write to Nykai's progenitor. She doesn't know who this dragon is, she doesn't know anything about her. But she would write a thank you. She would thank her for caring enough about an alternate reality to create a child and send it through the Mists.
I am not sure if you know who I am. I am sure you know your Scion, Nykai. He has grown into a powerful Elder Dragon, of Time and Patience. I don't know how much of our world you know. But I was given this chance, and, well... I had to take it. I had to thank you. Without him, I'm terrified to know what would be different. Who I would have lost. I'm proud to be his Champion. I hope, if you can see him, you are also proud of him.
Kynean would write to one of his fathers, in the past. A letter that would appear for him while he's still trying to find himself, way back when he met Rosalus. The letter would be extremely simple
You make your own destiny. Follow your heart.
Kyveli needs time to ponder her choice. She wants to weigh all the options. She decides to write to the real Kyveli, wherever she is in the Mists. It's a long letter, telling her how happy her parents are, how long she kept up the facade. How well her life is. She explains how they reacted when they found out what she was. How much they cried... But still love her.
- They asked me to stay with a neighbor that night. They needed time, I understand. Learning who you thought was your little girl was a Djinn, and your daughter was dead... I couldn't help my curiosity, they cried in each other's arms. They talked for a long time. Debating between options. Telling me to leave, wishing to forget that you were gone. But they came to a conclusion. They have raised you through me. They asked me, if I can ever find a way to contact you, to tell you this. They love you. They are proud of you, thinking of them as you died. They hope you're safe. They love you.
In Scion AU, Vielcos would instead write to a past Trahearne. She is terrified of changing the course of history, however, so she tries to keep it simple. But she gets overwhelmed with emotion. The possibility of a better outcome. She can't stop herself. However... It creates a new timeline... (Which I might actually play around with)
I love you. I have always loved you, I will always love you. No matter what happens to you, what you become. I love you, Trahearne. I love you... Which is why I have to warn you. Mordremoth can control sylvari. That is why Scarlet attacked Lion's Arch. We realized it far too late. Please, beloved, I beg you. Do not assault Mordremoth from the sky. It will lead to ruin. Do not bring Sylvari. And do not allow Caithe to follow Cor when she goes after the egg. Please, beloved. I need you to trust me.
