Kyo always has a very specific reason behind touching or bopping Tohru’s head. It might come as a surprise to some and I’m sure others realize it. When Kyo touches Tohru’s head in one way or another he’s trying to lead her back to safety. Be it physical or just keeping her from facing consequences. He even does it to keep her emotionally safe and present in the moment. He often bops her on the head when she becomes too absorbed it her thoughts. He doesn’t interfere unless he thinks her thoughts aren’t leading anywhere pleasant.

In episode 4 his bops her on the head while walking past. He does this to pull her out of her thoughts. His intention was to pull her back to reality, so that she wouldn’t be late for school. In this case he’s trying to keep her safe from any consequences that could have arisen.

In episode 5 he leads Tohru by the head. He pulls her by the head to get her out whatever thoughts she’s having AND to physically lead her out of a hostile environment and back to safety yet again.

In episode 10 he bops her on the head while they are walking back home. It’s no secret the Tohru is clumsy. He could see her losing her balance or missing a step on the stairs. So to prevent any accidents, he drawls her back to reality, so she is aware of her environment.

I wasn’t going to share this until the end of the season when I had more clips, but I already talked about it and didn’t want to be like “Okay, I’m doing this but you gotta wait a month for it.” So I’ll do an updated version of this when the season’s over.

Kyo has to melt inside whenever Tohru says “Kyo-Kun!” because she sounds so dang cute! The funniest parts are when he gets hurt because of the way she calls to him with such panic. They all sound the same. 😂

I manged to find the question about Kyo disliking leeks and onions! I forgot about the miso tbh but he doesn’t mind it if its in soup! (that’s where it belongs, according to him) He really is like a little kid sometimes lol
