Homura stared at the target. It’d been a while since she had last shot an arrow. Her sickness kept her bedridden for a while, but upon hearing TTU had an archery club, Homura was determined to get back into the swing of things. She’d also known that Madoka was a member of the club as well and for fear of making herself look like an idiot the next time the club met, she was outside practicing.
Off at her side, several feet away, she could see another young woman trying to practice. While the raven haired girl considered herself out of practice, that other girl made her seem much better than she was. She couldn’t settle for that and be complacent with herself. She had to keep working. Hopefully the young woman working over there would feel the same and continue working for her own improvement.
