Haru could hear the pounding bass before she even set foot inside the school gate. Why students had decided to have a party inside Nami Chuu where they could incur the wrath of the infamous prefect was beyond her. From what Haru heard it would not be the most innocent of parties, guaranteeing that none of her "goody goody" friends would be attending. Which worked in her favor, because it would be extremely embarrassing getting caught going on a...ghost hunt. Supposedly there was a secret labyrinth hidden underground that was only accessible on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar cycle, when the moon was at its fullest. In addition to that, tonight was the Fall Equinox, meaning that the spirits of those who had passed were especially active. It was an incredible opportunity that only came once a millennium, and to an avid ghost enthusiast like Haru, irresistible. The chance to meet a spirit was worth having to wiggle through the humid, crowded gym to find the secret entrance in the boys' locker room.
Relevant to anyone rping the old version with me. This is just a revamp and I'm changing a lot, but not anything that will affect what we have currently rolled out in the roleplay.
The Ragnorak are a race of super powered humanoids who are partly biological and partly mechanical. They are viewed as a beautiful race that will destroy the universe. {Alien AU}
As a race, the Ragnorak are mostly peaceful, extremely so, unless angered or threatened (either directly or indirectly). They will take extreme measures to exact revenge or remove the threat no matter the cost. Their power lies in the mechanics and the physics-bending properties of the machinery in their bodies.
Because they are a mix of living and non-living, their bodies are sturdy and can take a lot of damage and they also have long life expectancies. When the highly intelligent and powerful race was discovered they were believed to be angels due to their ability to glide on wings of light (that are produced by the machines in their bodies) and their passive nature. They were loved until another race (a barbarian race that had conquered more then a few planets and races) came to their planet to try to assert dominance over them and the Ragnorak completely obliterated them with overwhelming force.
The Ragnorak were long since hated and feared after that incident. Although they were granted a high standing in the Inter-Gallactic Council, it was just done to subtly watch their race and subsequently isolate them from attacks so a massacre like what happened before would never happen again. They IGC were successful in their endeavor and the Ragnorak were left alone.
Hundreds of thousands of year after the discover of the Ragnoraks, the king's third youngest son, Yoshi, out of four is teleported to Earth in an accident with his Inter-dimensional Warp Mechanism. In the face of a a discovery of a new planet Yoshi quickly learns the langauge by "stealing words". It's an ability solely belonging to the Ragnorak where in exchange of DNA they can learn the languages the other being knows.
After getting attached to a human, Yoshi decides to stay on earth and learn from humans.
