So y'all know the amazing tookas carrying pride flags that @pinetree-thetooka has done this year? I got the amazing opportunity to make them into a little mini pride parade!
You can see the whimsy on itch.io here
or check out the small video clip of it below!
Regardless of how you view the whimsy and joy of the tookas...
I'm in the @sw-cloneship-zines - The Secret Love Lives of Clones!
My contribution is the Build a Clone - Reference Maker (aka a clone dollmaker!)
You can play with the demo version right now at itch.io!
Pre-order the zine here - It is an 18+ Cloneshipping zine that is raising money for InsideOUT Kōaro. By pre-ordering your copy, you will gain access to the downloads for the desktop version of this application as well as a web variant of the full version too. I also included the .psd file that you can use with the drawing software of your choice!
I hope to see some of your fantastic copy-paste men! Please don't hesitate to @ me with the clones you make
Examples of the reference images you can make are under the cut!
The full version will be available for free on my ko-fi and github pages for free once the zine ships.
New free software drop from me on GitHub and Ko-fi. This pack helper software is specifically for the SWEM-Addendum mod to build the resource pack of coats and also give you a list of the summon commands for those coats.
Kudos to RileyCasper who commissioned this project.
Thanks for nearly 800 downloads of the OG Pack Helper for the SWEM community packs and also almost half a million download of the Tack Shop mod.
I have learned so much since the first release of the tack shop over two years ago and its been an amazing journey. I have more projects in the works for 2026 - including a Star Wars/Clones related one for a late Q1 2026 release.
the data pad and pop up box got a bit of a clean up and finally produced the functions to have the ending be generated based on the checklists. currently only 3/4 are possible to earn - you cant get a community win and a gar loss right now. so the 3 test endings are shown. Love opinions on them :)
((yess I can see the bugs that exist in the dialogue for calls to the character... I am working on that... it is just bed time and I have work tomorrow. ;-;))
tomorrow's goals - add a help button in the datapad to com Pi and get help about how to complete this mission and get insights. -- bonus points if can also make an npc to wander around and click on them for also conversation.
today you can see the updates from yesterday with the not building over other buildings and waiting until the next day for things to be built.
today was focused on getting farming up and running. the well was added to the community items so water can be generated. the fields take daily labor and water to work so you have to be mindful of that. a large field and high labor crop will quickly waste all your labor for the day! when you harvest crops, food is added to your resource bar, it also goes down each day because you were only sent with so many rations and the community you are rebuilding also doesn't have a food source yet.
tomorrow's goals - cause and effect / reputation. probably working on the GAR issued checklist you are to complete first so there is a clear space for you to track your progress to 'complete'
made new lil guy assets. they can be randomly generated based on if they are civilian or trooper. lots of possibilities (not really but we can imagine it).
look at these amazing stills showing the four positions. the hanging and walking frames are animated on a simple swing rotation, otherwise we just have stills. I want to have like 6-8 troopers and 10 community members for yall to drag around to your tasks so we dont want them super detailed or animated to make it too busy.
next goals (when I have another work day) - make the characters walk around and work when near a building under construction (aka implement a state machine for the lil guys).
remember how I said I would work on adding dialog with Pi? yeah that didn't happen. I instead made a framework of a main menu, a scene transition, new lil datapad tabs... and then....
drag and drop friends!
the goal is to hopefully be able to drag and drop people to places to assign them work or something of sorts. idk
next thing to do: add more building types to gain wood and stone from and make buildings take longer than one day to build.
but honestly.... im lowkey burnt out right now ;-; I may take the weekend off to write fan fics or draw.
finished yesterday's check flag calculations so now they are all ready to be used in win/loss values.
moved the single popup windows for displaying information into a single datapad ui/popup to make it star wars-y. this will end up displaying all you need in one place. :)
tomorrow's goals: make a framework series of win/loss screens based on the check flags i finished calculating today. [total win, gar only win, community only win, total loss]
