LOL THE POST IS A LOT MORE SERIOUS THAN I MEAN but the whole last-name-only thing is just /really/ rare in korean unless you attach a title like teacher, attorney, etc... the -sshi is different though, verbally you'd address changmin as changmin-sshi or shim changmin-sshi but never shim-sshi unless you're implying that you a higher social status :P

cont. (yea i realize the first post wasn’t very clear OTL but i just want to clarify that the -sshi thing is the main problem… and last-name-only is weird because you only call people without title/honorific if they’re lower status anyway, so…)
