My tips for school online (how to stay productive/sane)
All of my friends back home are starting online school work today, so I thought since I’ve been doing this for two weeks now i could give my tips :)

1) wake up at a normal time, don’t let your sleep schedule get all wack. I try to wake up at 8 at the latest, excluding mondays.
2) have!! a!!! morning!!! routine!!! this is so important, it gives your body/mind some buffer time between sleep/relax time and work time. It gets you in the right headspace for work, like I just know that after I brush my teeth its time to get to work. Make sure your morning routine includes un petite-dejournee (a small breakfast) so your mind is sharp :)
3) listen to music while you work. It helps me a lot
4) try to study in a different place than your room (i work in our dining room) but at the very least don’t work in your bed. It helps your body/mind distingush between places where you work and places where you relax.
5) bring EVERYTHING you need to that study space, that way you’re not getting up every two minutes to grab something; and this includes a nice healthy snack and something to sip on :))
6) take breaks!! im writing this on my break heheh, try to stay away from your phone and youtube, so you don’t get sucked in. I try to take small breaks every hour and then a larger break at lunch time
7) speaking of lunch time, actually take a break to eat and not do any work, I always eat my lunch with my fam, have a lil cup of coffee and then i go outside or do some yoga for like a half hour to fully give my mind and body a nice break before getting back to work, it helps prevent an afternoon slump if you have a nice lunch break.
8) try to make it fun?? Sounds wild but I like color coding and using calligraphy in my notes, because I have time and it makes work more fun
9) time block; this is life changing man. Every day when i get settled into my work space I look at what classes I will be working on that day, and estimate how much time each class will take me, and then I make myself a schedule, scheduling in my breaks as well. It helps keep me from procrastinating
