Bodyline L345 JSK in Sax
Hi there! im brand new to Lolita (in fact im getting some dresses, most likely one for Christmas) and I was just wondering what are your most liked bodyline jsk? also is I579 a good jsk because I think its adorable, although I am not sure what to pear with it.
I think my favorite Bodyline JSK is probably L489 because it’s simple but beautiful and there are a ton of ways it can be coordinated. As far as printed pieces go I’ve always liked L345 because I think the roses are beautiful and I love that they’re so vibrant that they stand out even on the pink dress.I think L579 is really cute too! It’s really popular and there are so many little elements to the print that you could coordinate it in a lot of cute ways be it very simple or elaborate. I could help you coordinate it but I would like to hear your thoughts and ideas about it first.
Hello! I hope it's alright to ask for some coord advice. Do you think if I wore bodylines blouse L364 in pink and L345 jumperkirt in pink and wore pink shoes and pink ruffle socks that it would be too much pink? I like the outfit when put together but I'm going to my first meetup and I don't want to have coorded really badly :/(kind of urgent but it's okay if you dont get back to me)
That is a lot of pink and I worry that it might look a little flat so maybe see what you could do with accessories that doesn’t involve that light pink. White wrist cuffs would play off the white lace on the dress, maybe see about doing something with roses that are the same shade as the roses in the print to brighten it up a bit. Maybe do some roses as shoe clips or put them in your hair. You could also do pearl jewelry since there are pearls in the print.
Would a pink peignoir with bodyline's Love Jewelry(blue) and blouse l370(owh) be too much? I want to create a royalty type feel because that's what the print reminds me of, but I don't want it too much, or not look bad.
I think with that blouse it would be too much. There’s a lot going on with the blouse and I don’t think it’s a great choice to put with such a Sweet print anyway. I think a more simple yet still Sweet blouse like L364 or L527 would be cute. If you want something with a more princessy feel you could do something like L581 perhaps but depending on the style of the peignoir I’m not sure how that would look but you could always experiment with it.
None of my questions seem to get answer and I guess they just get eaten but I hope you get this one at least! I'm getting L345 bodyline in pink and 251 shoes in pink but i'm worried that the colors will be far off from each other. Do you think they'll be pretty close color wise? and also do you think L345 is a more A line or bell shaped dress? Thank you!
I think the pinks are fine together because you have a lot of different shades of pink coming through in the roses on the print. Although if you're doing the shoes in the light pink that's pretty darn close to the main pink of the dress anyway. And the dress is absolutely bell-shaped.
