Picture of the Day
I took this time exposure a few hours after sunset near the end of December in 2011. I had been thinking about trying to capture the curves of I-25 at La Bajada south of Santa Fe at night for while and I finally got the chance to do something about it on the way back from a visit to Los Alamos. I discovered that the best view that I could readily access was on the bridge at the exit for Cochiti which is where I took this 42 second exposure. I like the elegant simplicity of the final image.
