i’ve been waiting for this forever and i’m so happy it came out on netflix finally. it’s not my favorite season (i’m not sure which one is my fav yet but I think it’s two) but it was really good and the ending made me cry.
i wish there was more sister george michael and not just small funny scene. i wanted a whole episode where we just saw everyday what sister michael did. i appreciated her having more lines i just would have loved to dive into her character more. overall my wee little lesbian got a kiss and that’s all i really wanted so i’m very satisfied.

this was a really good show!! at first i wasn’t sure i would like it but the main character being a woman was great and the other main being a plus sized man was also fantastic. the main man’s character is on point, his reaction to the supernatural is fucking hilarious and the circles his feelings go around in is super realistic, most people can’t just shut off their feelings in the face of flaws or problems.
it’s got some humor but the ‘found family’ aspect is my all time favorite. i kept yelling ‘she knows they are her family!! she knows they are her pack!!!!’ and my husband was like okay?? and then at the end he looked at me and said ‘ohhhhhh you were right!’
also usually if i can guess too much about a show or the plot it isn’t as fun but this one it didn’t matter because the whole time i was like….they aren’t really going to do that right? this is like a fanfiction come to life… 8/10 would recommend!
the expanse (s1)
this is a really good sci-fi show…. Like one of the best i’ve ever seen so far. it’s like the beginnings of more realistic star trek with an amos— who is my favorite character. i really really hope they don’t mess with his character too much, i love who he is so much.
resident alien (s2)
i really didn’t think i would like this show as much as i did (I said this about season 1 as well). i couldn’t keep full attention on it because of my adhd which usually means I have to watch it much slower but my partner really liked it so he would fill me in if i missed anything huge or would rewind it for me. it’s not the conventional way to watch shows but it worked really well for my brain and it didn’t take me 3 months to watch. also i said this last time too— i freaking love asta.
la brae
i wanted to like this one a lot, the idea is a really interesting one and overall the show was probably like a 5/10 for me but i just really didn’t get into it. the cishet cheating storyline that started it and kept prevailing throughout just turned me off from the show. i was also able to guess a lot of the plot turns and kept guessing what they were doing next to the point that my partner told me i couldn’t guess anymore. lol
takura-kun and amagi-kun
this was very cute and soft, japanese bl’s always feel a little different then others. the plot and storyline got a little confusing at times and the last episode could have been done a little better but overall it was very cute and a good little watch. i wouldn’t put it in my rewatch with some other bl’s but still worth the watch!
