On an episode of Castle a few years ago Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) said 'Even on your worst day there's a possibility for joy' and it stuck with me, I often times interchange Joy with Hope I use this quote because I just finished The Firefly (La Luciernaga) and the story of Lucia and Mariana is of hope.
Two women grieving Mariana (the lost of a fiancée) Lucia (her brother) this is their worst day who inadvertently brought possibilities. They're the only people who can understand their shared lost, a companionship born from anchoring each other through their storm but without realization found their second chance at happiness. Their love story is so subtle there was no dramatics, no defining moment or lingering doubt they simply fell in love without barriers or effort.
Grief has no boundaries its stubborn and wild but during the worst days of their life it brought them home
Has you ever watched La luciérnaga? (the firefly)? Is a Colombian movie. Is very interesting and wlw with a “happy ending”.
I...have heard of it. It’s on my list, for sure! But I haven’t watched it, no.

Atraparé luciérnagas, las pondré en un frasco y brillarán para ti. 💙
