okay so I was listening to the switch Link's Awakening ost and the instruments that you use to wake the Windfish? like at the end of their own little tune when you get them and it sounds like a single sound echoing into an empty space?
It tickles my tiny angst button. Just... the idea of that image: a single person playing a tune, only to drop away as they realize no one's there to listen.
