We are nearing the end of week 1 and I’m proud to say I’ve been to 3 so far. In past years, I’ve traditionally visited the last two after landing from traveling abroad. This year I’m grounded in LA and trying my best to step up to the KAMIKAZE challenge! • • Last night’s show, “Some Blakkity Black Stuff, was curated by Zeal Harris @artsyzeal and featured Duane Paul @duanepaul, June Edmonds @juneeecee, Lisa Diane Wedgeworth @ldwstudio, Lorenzo Baker @zo_broo, Rosalyn Myles, Jamaal Tolbert @jamaalhasef, Kimberly Morris @kimberlymorrisstudio, Johanne Rahaman @johannerahaman, Ronda Brown, and Lili Bernard & Son @lilibernard6. • • Described as “an eclectic mix of sharply humorous, ironic, and high concept artwork.” It was also an ambitious show in itself as there were several works suspended from the ceiling, and it was well executed 👌🏽 • • Swipe thru to see views of the show ➡️ • • 5 down, 26 more to go.
