caught zygarde but at what cost (L moment that almost made me cry) (au revior my young friend)
just beat ZA
impeccable fucking ending. i think im going to be thinking about this game for weeks. months. years. the sequel that XY deserved and more. i have some unanswered questions but i have yet to play the post-game. namely: who is taunie looking for, I Want To Know More About L, and why did sycamore resign? im actually not that disappointed that he didn’t show up, the game was so full of good plot and characters and gameplay that im still very very satisfied. i would like him to be in the DLC though, and if he’s not THEN i’ll have a problem. my only real problem with this game was some of the input delay on having my pokemon do shit. that got really upsetting at times when my pokemon would just eat shit and die while i was trying to set off a move of theirs. other than that this game was great. maybe not worth 70 dollars but definitely worth 50. ill probably post more later with more concise thoughts on everything but wow. just wow.
btw game freak you’re sick as hell for making AZ die of old age. we’re killing your ass now. why did that make me cry real tears. full on sobbing. my partner asked if everything was okay and i didn’t have an answer. thank you for everything AZ indeed…
talking with my coworkers about ZA and expressed my disappointment that sycamore isn’t in the game and the one who beat it was like “i won’t say anything” girl say sike right fucking now. right now. don’t get my hopes up
team flare nouveau…first of all please let them be the main antagonists for the rest of the game…
second of all…guys what if a certain someone whose name starts with A and ends with ugustine Sycamore is in there. guys what if (<- fully fucking losing it)
kind of extremely enthralled by this character they’re adding onto lysandre. the rust syndicate folks paint the picture that before team flare he was a caring, generous guy, who helped a lot of strangers out of bad situations with charity. it makes his descent into “nothing in this world can be fixed so i must destroy it” heartbreaking (though to be honest i already kinda thought it was)
and it makes sycamore’s denial of him changing and inaction to help him more heartbreaking too
