Crusader Kings III - Next-Gen Announcement Trailer
Paradox Interactive will release the console edition of Crusader Kings III for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in collaboration with developer Lab42. A release date was not announced.
Overview
An Heir is Born
The jewel in Paradox Interactive’s grand strategy crown, the Crusader Kings franchise has long delighted gamers looking for a deep strategy experience. Released for PC to wide acclaim in 2020, Crusader Kings III will be a new strategy experience for console players. Following the console success of its science fiction strategy game, Stellaris, Paradox and Lab42 are now adapting one of the most popular strategy titles for console players seeking greater depth and complexity in historical games.
Would-be medieval monarchs will enjoy an all-new gamepad support designed for console controllers from the ground up. Crusader Kings III on console will also utilize key capabilities of the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, like super-fast load times for a seamless gameplay experience. Xbox Series X|S players will be able to quickly switch between gameplay and consulting a YouTube tutorial on how to quell a peasant revolt. PlayStation 5 users will experience the game’s stress mechanics themselves, as their DualSense controllers physically react to in-game events as they unfold.
Key Features
Character Focused Gameplay – Every character you play or interact with has their own unique personality. Events and options in the game are largely determined by the type of person you are.
Infinite Possibilities – Play as any noble house from Iceland to India, Finland to Central Africa, over five centuries. Interact with wandering guests, stubborn children, devious spymasters and saintly holy men in an elaborate tapestry of medieval life.
Waging War – Rally your vassals and raise your men-at-arms to besiege enemy castles or put down rebellions. Personal prowess on the battlefield can win you great honor, but strategic planning is the path to victory.
Royal Marriages – Spread your dynastic DNA throughout the world, stamping your royal seal on the crests of kingdoms and duchies far and wide. Marry for power and raise children to press claims on new lands.
Saints and Sinners – Keep faith with your religious leaders or perform great crimes in the interest of the state. When the going gets tough, you can always embrace a heresy or craft a new religion more in line with your character’s priorities.
Infographic: What and Why Millennials and Gen Zers Rent Instead of Buy
There are now a lot of rental companies springing up everywhere especially on Instagram. Companies like Rent the Runway and Adorn seem to be gaining a lot of steam. You may wonder why do consumers prefer to rent instead of buying? Why is this trend so popular? Who is making this a trend? What do people like to rent and why? Well, you can get answers to these questions thanks to market research firm Lab42. They recently conducted a study on this and we would be sharing the infographics and data from the study. On this post, we would be talking about what and why Millenials and Gen Zers rent instead of buy.
What and Why Millennials and Gen Zers Rent Instead of Buy
According to Lab42’s research, Millennials and Gen Zers make up most of the renters. They do these because they are looking to make practical choices. Here are some of the things the study discovered: 57% of people revealed that the most common reason for renting is testing items before deciding whether to purchase them. 55% revealed that they rent because they need a temporary solution. 52% revealed that they rent because they need the item for a short time. Other motivating factors for renting are spending less (43%), convenience (42%) and less maintenance and responsibility (41%).
Lab42 Speaks on the Study on What and Why Millennials and Gen Zers Rent Instead of Buy
Athos Maimarides, VP of research, Lab42 Research spoke about the study. He stated that the study reveals that the renting culture is most prevalent among younger urbanites. The study shows that the renting trend is a result of mostly wanting to make pragmatic choices. According to Maimarides, this trend may not grow as predicted unless more diverse offerings continue to enter the renting space, which could entice more people to try renting and thus accelerate the trend.

Does Anyone Really Believe Advertising Any More?
#SuryaRay #Surya Apparently consumers are taking this old saying to heart: "Believe only half of what you see and nothing that you hear." Market research firm Lab42 just released a study that revealed that 76% of its respondents think advertisements contain exaggerated claims, and a mere 3% think ads are "very accurate." According to Lab42's survey of 500 respondents, while 38% wish for more accuracy in advertising, only 17% would like to see more laws in the United States that regulate advertising. In the U.S., advertising is seen as free speech, but that's not the case in other countries such as the UK, where ads are routinely banned for being misleading or exaggerated.
