Powerful Speech to Labor
AUSTRALIA: Today at the Labor conference in Townsville leader Bill Shorten made clear the distinctions between what a Labor government would do for the country as opposed to the way the Turnbull government has been operating. Unlike the speech given by Malcolm Turnbull recently that focused on the internal view of the Liberal party as conservatives (or not), Shorten outlined plans to tackle rampant inequality and move toward a republic.
