Happy Birthday to ILGWU organizer and labor activist Angela Bambace! Bambace was an Italo-Brazilian-American labor union organizer. She worked for the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union (ILGWU) for over fifty years and she was the first Italian American woman to be elected Vice-President of the ILGWU in 1956!
