I liked Sharrkan instantly. I mean, he’s handsome, amazing swordplay and I just liked his personality
My favourite Kou member was always Kouha ren. It’s because while his family don’t really actively care about their citizens in their kingdom if we’re being honest. Kou En has a tendency to see people are tools. He cares about people close to him. He falls into that typical trap of using people as tools because he was groomed by his parents as the eldest. Kouha went out of his way to directly bring people with deformities and mental illnesses out of the shit holes they found them in. The Kou empire adores him the most out of all the Kou while respecting Kou En for his nobility, military, business and strategy and power. Kouha has a massive heart. It’s a result of having a mentally ill mother who raised him. They both were abandoned until he became a teenager. I think this made him more compassionate than his other Kou siblings. And that’s why I’ve always liked him the most. He’s a broken individual with a massive heart. He gets hurt too easily. (Flip side: He will brawl if he gets hurt or his loved ones get hurt, he’s not a pushover either).
Shoutout to Judar from magi.
10/10 character. No fucking goals except to be as much of a Problem as he physically could. All these problems going around in the plot, and he could Care Less.

"Hey, I'm back from space! where am I? Don't even worry about it. I guess I'm a good guy now by the way."
"Hey guys I visited the village where my parents were brutally murdered. Great time!"
"Hey guys, I was with this random background character while I was missing, now I'm using him as our deus ex machina! Whoo!"
"Oh okay, I'm a part of the fight against the final villain now. I don't really know what part of my previous actions have screamed 'world saving heroes', but I guess Hakuryuu is doing it, so I will too."
