Okay but Labyrinth!lock
Like, John being sick and tired of Harry's bullshit, so he's wishing her away.
And Sherlock the Goblin King, with his little riding crop and flair for dramatics, let's John have his wish because John Watson is oddly not boring to watch. And if you aren't boring, you have Sherlock's attention(and maybe love but shh)
Then when John regrets his wish, Sherlock tells him he can get Harry back as long as he solves his Labyrinth of mysteries.
Featuring Greg Lestrade as Hoggle (the Goblin King never gets the name right anyway), some wonderful ballroom dancing, and an ending slightly different from the movie.
This could be so good, you guys. So good.
I really want that shaft/pit of hands from Labyrinth to get real handsy with Sherlock.
WOAH THER E
Labyrinthlock: sherlock being like okay not that I want mycroft back or anything but imma do this labyrinth thing anyway bc like did you see that goblin king??? With those trousers????? that bulge??????? This is like a once in a lifetime chance for me tbh
I mean , he's totally doing it to get Mycroft back but that's real deep on the inside, but it's also def that lol
Poor Goblin King John's confusion! "I've never kidnapped someone in their 40s. Do you - I mean, normally there's a song and dance number to keep the kids happy while their sibling solves the Labyrinth. Is that something you're expecting? Because I can, it's just... a bit weird. Also, your brother's unexpectedly hot."
aSHJABCDFLKJBLJHVBLAF IM SCREAMING
Here's my burning question: did Sherlock wish Mycroft away (hilarious, the idea of John keeping Mycroft prisoner) or did Mycroft wish Sherlock away (and by the time he solves the Labyrinth, Sherlock's all, "nope, think I'll be staying here, thanks!")?
This is like fucking me up, I've always thought of it as Harry drunkenly wishing John away and yet, Sherlock would totally wish Mycroft away, can you imagine, he is 100% childish enough to wish his brother away to the Goblin King ajsshhabshss
labyrinthlock au concept tho like
Mycroft is the actual ruler of the Underground, but he's too busy dealing with angry fairy Moriarty to go to the summons so Goblin Prince Sherlock goes on his first baby raid
Except when he gets there it's actually just a drunk woman wishing her adult brother away, and now she's passed out on the floor, and Sherlock's like... I guess... you have to solve the Labyrinth for your own freedom...??
and John having had a lifetime crush on the Goblin King from the book and like, barely concealing his boner when this guy shows up
the Labyrinth being based around John's dreams and life, so a lot of Afghanistan-like desert
Jim the fairy messing everything up along the way uwu
Bursting into your ask box to add to your sherlock!labyrinth crossover: imagine Mycroft (sparkly... umbrella?) as the actual ruler of the Underground because Sherlock can't be bothered to do anything. Imagine Sherlock trying to get the goblins to reenact crime scenes because he's bored. Sherlock drugging John with a peach, ohmygod, I can't, this even fits canon, I'm done.
THIS IS LITERALLY all part of my fic concept I'm so excited you're down!!! Mycroft as the actual Goblin King and Sherlock as some kinda Goblin Prince, who only goes for the summons cause Mycroft is dealing with whatever the incarnation of Moriarty is up to in the Labyrinth universe (a fairy ??? is my head canon lol) Sherlock drugging John with the peach and dancing with him cause every version of Sherlock loves dancing yo it's so good so tight. Harry being too drunk to run the Labyrinth and John having to win it for himself :')))))))
