All In The Past || Wild Flowers and Lace
December's in Healdsburg, California could always be counted on to be two things: cold and wet. As Victor sat on the damp grass in front of his mother's grave in Oak Mound Cemetery, he mused that this particular December day, was lacking on neither front. The rain had finally slacked off to an irritatingly cool mist long enough for him to make his way out to the plot and take up his usual spot, about six feet down from the headstone. He'd run out of things to say to her years ago, instead just coming to sit and point his wand at the ground, occasionally making her favorite flowers grow up here and there around edges of her resting place. The cemetery was pretty easy to find, seeing as Healdsburg wasn't that big, but it was a mostly un-visited place. Hence, why Victor liked to spend most of his time there when he had to come home for visits. Victor sat with his knees drawn up to his chest, whispering charms to himself with a sad smile as wildflowers sprouted up out of the ground around him.
