8. Pairing you wrote the most for this year?

Four way tie between Falin/Marcille Dungeon Meshi, Frank/Colt Deathloop, John/Arthur Malevolent, and Collector/Fisherman Dredge, each with a grand total of two whole fics. I am very much someone who hops around and doesn’t stick to any single ship for long, as you can perhaps see.

I was just discussing with my writing partner about how we really need to write a scene where Garak picks up Julian, since we both decided it’s a Thing That Must Happen. So, look for it in Mila Verse eventually.

If you’re curious, the book is “Vengeance” and has a very nice amount of Garashir moments. Not necessarily them together, but them talking about each other to others. Garak talking to Rom, Quark, and Jake, and Julian talking to Miles. (Also Sisko reflecting on the couples on the station being: Kira/Odo, Jadzia/Worf, and Julian/Garak.) It’s a pretty good read and a nice plotline.

what are your fave star wars fic tropes?

uh... hm. u kno wut it’s kinda difficult to say NotDead Maul because I really don’t like how that happened in tcw, but also, NotDead NotParticularlyVillainous Villain is always fun. I especially like the ones who casually pop up like daisies and never explain how/why they’re alive. like, nope. just am. deal. 

Dooku w/ a softspot for the lineage is one of my faves. particularly Tyrannous-bit-off-more-than-he-could-chew, casually-regret-dealing-with-Sidious, Obi-Wan-Help-Me-You’re-My-Only-Ho—oohp never mind nearly killed him in the geonosian arena. talk about missed chances. 

Oblivious-over-personal-issues Qui-Gon is good too.
