Hi! I would like to request their reaction to the reader moving on like dating someone else. Preferably don't mention reader's new partners gender. I'm in the mood for some angst lol.
A/N: Here you go Darling! I had a lot of fun with this preference. The angst is vary real in this okay, at least for me. Thank you to my Darling @welcome-to-writers-haven for helping me figure out a few thing! You’re the best Laurel Love!
You move on ~ Sherlock Preference
Sherlock:
Sherlock shut out everything. He had seen you together from a distance. You were across the street from where he was investigating a case, your arm hooked around theirs as you walked and laughed. He was too far away to actually hear you laugh, but he knew exactly what it sounded like. He instantly closed up, dismissed the case, and hailed a cab. John was with him, he tried to console Sherlock but he dismissed the efforts. When he finally met your new partner he couldn’t help himself, he ripped him to shreds with deductions. That ultimately hurt his relationship with you but in the moment it helped him.
John:
He was polite when he and Sherlock ran into the two of you at the market. He pretended to be alright, he pretended that it didn’t crush him to see you hold someone else’s hand. Sherlock could tell John was upset so he made a few acute observations and pointed them out. John told him to stop in the market and Apologized for his friend. However, once in the cab, it took him a minute but he agreed with Sherlock and they laughed.
Mycroft:
Mycroft made a point to ignore them. When you and your new partner saw him at a state function, Mycroft completely ignored them. In all actuality, he acted as though you and him had never been a couple. He spoke strictly of work and was as brisk and brief with you as he was with everyone else. The trust was Mycroft's heart was an open wound and seeing you with someone new was like pouring lemon juice in it. You had been everything to him. He had planned on marrying you. But everything fell apart and he couldn’t stop it. He closed you out. Because the idea of letting you see how hurt he was scared him senseless.
Greg:
Heartbroken as he was, Greg was still supportive. While it was rocky at first you and Greg were still friends. Even if you weren’t dating anymore, he wanted you in his life. You were incredibly important to him. He actually met the person you ended up dating before you actually went on a date. You wanted him to meet them to get his opinion on them. The two of you were best friends before anything else and neither of you wanted that to change. Greg was alaways in love with you though. Always.
Moriarty:
…He had them fallowd. Well, he had you followed, then when the two of you were seen together he had them followed as well. Jim justified this to himself as making sure you didn’t reveal his secrets. As making sure his organization wasn’t in jeopardy. However, the jealous rage he flew into any time he saw a picture of you with them revealed his true feelings. He knew he fucked up in losing you, and the idea that you could be in love with someone else made him sick.
