"We can be so trifling with this one life that we were given for a limited time"
why do 3a and 3b feel like two different seasons?
Lacking Focus || Peter & Minerva || Prompt 3 || February 14th, 1979
As Peter made his way through Knockturn Alley, he couldn't help but feel as though he was walking in circles. It was so much bigger than he had remembered it being and among the chaos of the evening he had somehow managed to lose Remus, or rather, Remus had managed to lose him. All day Peter had been trying to get back to Marlene, wanting nothing more than to look at her, to be near her, to hold her in his arms and tell her he loved her every second until the end of time, but since their brief encounter that morning he hadn't seen her at all. Remus had insisted that Peter had to infiltrate the Death Eater hiding spot here in the Alley with the rest of the Order, but it was so difficult for him to focus on anything other than the beautiful blonde waves of Marlene's hair or her gentle laughter that was like music to Peter's ears. He had to see her again. He had to.
Peter turned another corner, and another, and another. His sense of direction as lost as he was as he wandered aimlessly trying to find the girl of his dreams. Why was she hiding from him? Why didn't she come to him? It was confusing and hurtful, but at the same time he could feel this overwhelming joy inside of him. It had been so long since Peter had felt this happy and he just knew that Marlene was the cause of it. He knew that if he could find her, and stay with her, he would never have to feel unhappy again. He couldn't even recall what unhappiness felt like anymore and it was so incredibly freeing.
He felt like he could do anything, be anyone, and he just knew that she felt the same. He knew that he made her just as happy as she made him. They were connected in such a strong way that he was so sure that if he would just continue walking they would eventually meet again. However, as he turned yet another corner he found himself bumping right into someone. "Marlene?" He asked hopefully, but once his eyes adjusted to the woman in front of him, he knew it wasn't her. "Oh... Okay. Have you seen Marlene, Professor?"
Focus
I lack it.I’m not gonna lie. Because whenever I have to pay attention in class I’m always asking why. However, my attention span has always been Kinda bad. I mean, not really, but then again, maybe. I’m not sure. I don’t remember
