@stevesbootyshorts it's the return of the high school au send help Laura Lewis knows everything about everyone. It's her job to know everything about everyone. Well, she doesn't get paid for it- the school doesn't have the funding and even if they did, they wouldn't pay the students and- let's try again.
Being the editor of the school newspaper, Laura Lewis knows everything about everyone. She knows about how Tony was kidnapped after his parents' deaths and came back with a prosthetic hand. She knows he's living with his boyfriend James Rhodes, called Rhodey by everyone. She knows Rhodey's parents don't know they're sleeping together with Pepper Potts joining in whenever she can. She knows Pepper's uber-religious parents would disown her if they found out she was in a polyamorous relationship, so Laura keeps her mouth shut.
She knows her little sister Darcy is dating sophomore Loki Odinson, even though he's a year older than her and their parents don't want her dating anyone even a year older than her. She knows Loki's a good guy despite all the sarcastic remarks; his remarks are never directed at Darcy, and whenever he comes over, he helps with the farm chores. Laura knows Loki is adopted, though it is never mentioned. His brother Thor and his parents Frigga and Odin Borson (apparently the father's name-son thing was common in Nordic tradition) were all blonde, while his hair was black as night. Still, Laura keeps her mouth shut.
She knows Bruce Banner has a huge crush on Betty Ross and underestimates his strength when angry, and she knows Betty likes him enough to want to help him work on his anger issues. She knows Helen Cho is crushing on Kamala Khan, who is crushing on head cheerleader Carol Danvers, who is asexual and aromantic. She knows Jane and Thor sneak around after the football games because Odin doesn't approve of Jane (he doesn't approve of Darcy either), and Amora is always trying to sink her claws into an unwilling Loki.
There are probably only three people in the entire school Laura hasn't personally met, but she knows about two of them all the same. Bucky Barnes is the captain of the football team and makes good grades by himself, no wink-wink, nudge-nudge from the coach to the teachers required. He doesn't have time for much of anything else, other than his three little sisters of course. The oldest, Rebecca, is a sophomore in HOSA and dating Steve, Bucky's best friend. Said best friend spent a year abroad in France but has very little to say about it.
The second, Natasha Romanoff, is from the bad part of town and a second generation immigrant. Her accent is trained, forced to be American, but when she's angry (and that's often) she begins cursing in Russian with a thick accent. She's been kicked out of her house three times, but no one knows where she stayed during those times. She's best friends with cousins Sharon and Peggy Carter, but neither will own up to housing her.
The third is a brand new student named Clint Barton, and when Laura tried to introduce herself when he sat next to her in homeroom, he smirked, splitting his half-healed lip and refused to respond.
@sebuttstianstan laclintashky is Laura/Clint/Natasha/Bucky. I ship them way too hard and am one of only three people that writes for them.
Someone send me Laclitntashky prompts while I wait for my AvAc stuff to be done.
Since the Barton fam has a bunch of kids, they know their way around Disney.
Okay, since Darcy is Laura’s little sister, she’s obviously gotten her fill of Disney even before she had her own kids, especially Disney Channel original movies. So when Darcy was 7 and Laura was 22 and just starting out on life after college, she would babysit her little sister for extra cash. The first DCOM she saw was Under Wraps. After that, cheesy Disney Channel movies became their thing. High School Musical and Cadet Kelly are their favorites.
At first, Clint is not allowed in on DCOM nights. He’s finally invited before the premiere of The Cheetah Girls and quickly learns not to mention Darcy’s likeness to one of the characters from The Scream Team.
Natasha is brought in by Clint just as Read It and Weep is about to premiere, and Laura offers her some popcorn. Natasha is wary as fuck, but seeing the way the other two women are perfectly relaxed around her, she decides to settle in. Clint doesn’t mention the fact that he brought an assassin home until the next morning.
Cooper grows up on DCOMs, and the first one he remembers watching is Starstruck. More animated Disney movies make it into their repertoire after he’s born, from the more modern ones like Meet the Robinsons and WALL-E to the older ones like Cinderella and Fantasia. The only one he doesn’t watch is Snow White and the Seven Dwarves because Natasha has issues with it she won’t disclose.
Lila lives for princess movies and DCOM nights. Frozen quickly becomes her favorite after its release, and she knows the full dance to “Set It Off” from Descendants. She teaches Bucky this the second he joins the family. Clint thinks it’s absolutely hilarious to see the fearsome Winter Soldier trying to coordinate his arms and legs to the music.
Also, when Bucky joins the family, he introduces the family to some of the lesser-known old movies. Saludos Amigos was the last one to come out before he was drafted, and he’s determined to work his way through the list one by one. Nathaniel readily joins his quest and is surprisingly quiet during these times.
The entire family is eagerly awaiting the premieres of Zootopia, Finding Dory, and Moana.
laclintashky prompt? someone/s out on mission, what's going on at home? :)
6:30 AM: The alarm goes off. Bucky whines and rolls over onto his stomach, but Laura sits up and turns off the device. She smiles at Bucky, appreciating how the early morning sun provides just enough light for her to see him. The windmill out in the distance is motionless, the sky is the color of denim, and the sheets are rumpled from a long night. Clint and Natasha aren’t present, out on a mission that Bucky hasn’t been cleared for yet. Hell, he was only cleared to sleep in the same bed as other people a month ago.
Laura rolls out of bed and picks an outfit for the day: cotton panties, a supportive bra, jeans, a pink-and-purple plaid shirt, and a pair of boots. She runs a brush through her hair before going downstairs, a skip in her step.
7:00 AM: Laura goes into Cooper’s room first, then Lila’s to wake them up. Both kids moan and beg for five more minutes. A soft cooing from down the hall reveals the only one of the three children who had inherited Laura’s knack for being an early bird. Surprisingly, that same child is incredibly quiet about it, like he knows everyone else is trying to sleep.
Laura retrieves her younger son and unbuttons her shirt, knowing that the first thing Nathaniel wants in the morning is food. She feeds and burps her baby before going back to her older children to wake them up. Cooper’s asleep again, but Lila just can’t go to sleep that easily and is lying in bed, staring up at the ceiling.
7:30 AM: The older two kids are dressed and plowing through their cereal (Lucky Charms for Lila, Cinnamon Toast Crunch for Cooper) while Laura voluntarily spell-checks Cooper’s English homework. His handwriting is far from neat, but it is legible, and everything is spelled correctly. She puts it in his folder and the folder in his bag as he finishes up his breakfast.
8:00 AM: Laura drives up to the school in the truck, all three kids in the backseat. She wishes Cooper and Lila good luck and tells them that she loves them before driving off to the center of town. Only half the shops are open this early, but Wagmans (not Wegmans, I was here first! the owner will tell you) opens at 7:30 each morning. She greets the owner and gets a cart, putting Nathaniel in the front.
9:00 AM: Laura gets to the new Avengers Facility and parks in the garage, being met immediately by an eager Helen Cho. She hands the doctor a bag of black and white cookies from Wagmans.
Helen smiles from ear to ear and thanks her; almost all the food in the facility has to be shipped in due to the sheer number of people there, so they couldn’t just buy groceries in the store, lest they buy out the whole place. Even then, just where in the store Laura finds the cookies is a secret; no one but her can ever find them, even if she gives specific instructions on how to get them.
9:45 AM: Laura arrives back at the farm and puts away the groceries just in time for Bucky to get out of bed. He smiles at the duo, watching as Nathaniel tries to help his mom but can only grab hold of the apples and put them in the bowl on the counter he’s sitting on. When he runs out of fruit and begins to cry, Bucky picks him up and walks around with him to calm him down.
10:00 AM: Laura sits down in front of the computer and opens up a spreadsheet. Since it’s October and the farm is a grain farm, there isn’t much fieldwork to do. Instead, she works on budgeting for the next year.
11:00 AM: Nathaniel is hungry again, and this time Bucky burps him when he’s done before putting him down for a nap. Laura watches with a small smile on her face as Nathaniel falls asleep. With the munchkin out, Bucky walks up to Laura and puts his hands on her hips, kissing her softly. His hands get frisky in a hurry, and Laura tugs him back to their room so they won’t accidentally wake up Nate.
12:00 PM: Bucky puts together sandwiches for lunch and returns to bed, offering Laura a plate. She laughs when she notices that his sandwich is about twice as big as hers.
1:00 PM: Laura knows she has to get back to work, this time opening a Word document with eight chapters of a spy thriller on it. Bucky teases her mercilessly, and when Nathaniel wakes up from his nap and begins to cry, Laura decrees that karma was in play.
3:15 PM: Bucky is at the school in the truck, looking around for his little munchkins. When he does see them, the two leap into the truck and start telling Papa all about their day. Lila found a cool new book in the library, and Cooper’s teacher did a “super duper awesome science thingy” (it was a baking soda volcano).
3:45 PM: Laura calls, asking where he is. Sheepishly, Bucky admits that the kids conned him into taking them out for ice cream. Laura says it’s okay as long as they bring home a cup of chocolate for her.
4:00 PM: Homework time is in full-swing, both parents helping their kids in any way they can. Thankfully, they’re well before the point where a grown adult could look at the assignment and not have a clue what’s being said. Lila complains about fractions, and Cooper warns her “just wait until you have to add ‘em together.” Lila moans and drops her head on the coffee table.
5:00 PM: Laura and the kids rest and watch TV while Bucky cooks dinner. Nathaniel falls asleep again, giving Cooper and Lila all the permission they need to change the TV from Dora to Spongebob.
6:00 PM: Dinner is chicken tonight, and while both kids are happy with it, Lila gets picky with her vegetables. Laura and Bucky threaten to take away dessert, and Lila reluctantly eats the asparagus, shuddering with disgust each time she swallows.
7:30 PM: Lila goes to bed, having finally resigned herself to the fact that Cooper doesn’t have to go to bed until 8:30. She stays up reading, unbeknownst to her parents, while Cooper is enlisted to clean up the playroom.
8:30 PM: Now it’s time for Cooper to go to sleep, and thanks to the chores, he doesn’t put up a fight. Bucky and Laura curl up on the couch and watch a movie.
10:00 PM: Laura and Bucky hop in the shower together, surprisingly without much of anything sexual happening. They just clean each other off, a few kisses here and there before they fall into bed, eager to do it all over again.

How long will they last?: Forever and ever!
How quickly did/will they fall in love?: Laura and Clint were hesitant, as were Clint and Natasha, and Laura and Bucky. Natasha and Bucky were fast in the Red Room but slow when they got back together. When Laura met Natasha, they both knew.
How was their first kiss?: Laura and Clint were awkward and messy as most young people are. The first first kiss between Natasha and Bucky was hot and desperate and hidden in the shadows. Laura and Natasha’s first kiss was gentle and tender but resulted in Natasha climbing in Laura’s lap. Natasha and Clint’s was shortly thereafter but was more to stop him from smirking at Laura and Natasha’s kiss. Laura and Bucky’s was under the mistletoe and was sweet during the kiss but completely awkward after. Bucky and Clint’s was hot and heavy because it came after Bucky admitted he kissed Laura and Clint admitted he wanted him in the relationship. Finally, Natasha and Bucky’s second first kiss was hesitant and gentle.
Wedding:
Who proposed?: Clint proposed to Laura, Laura proposed to Natasha, and Clint proposed to Bucky.
Who is the best man/men?: Barney was the best man at the initial marriage between Clint and Laura, but for the Asgardian bonding ceremony, there weren’t any groomsmen.
Who is the bridesmaid(s)?: Darcy was the maid of honor for the initial wedding, but the Asgardian bonding ceremony, as stated above, had no bridesmaids.
Who did the most planning?: Laura. The others might be Avengers, but she is a master of organization. She got all the tables perfectly balanced so no one was sitting next to anyone they’d get in a fight with.
Who stressed the most?: Bucky. He was a little worried about all the people that were going to show up, but once the ceremony started, he was cool as a cucumber.
How fancy was the ceremony?: Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big (thanks Tony)
Who was specifically not invited to the wedding?: Barney, ironically, to the Asgardian bonding ceremony. He’d become an alcoholic like his and Clint’s father before him and was getting involved in a number of violent crimes to pay for his habit.
Sex:
Who is on top?: Usually Natasha; she likes being able to be in control of the situation, but sometimes she’ll bottom.
Who is the one to instigate things?: Not 100% of the time, but Laura will often start things off with soft kisses that gradually move to the neck, or she’ll start rubbing someone’s chest, and the next thing they know, they’ve fallen into bed.
How healthy is their sex life?: Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now (it would be more, but kids kind of make it difficult; however, with the weird Avengers schedule, they often make time to get it on)
How kinky are they?: Straight missionary with the lights off | 2 | 3 | 4 | Might try some butt stuff and toys | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Don’t go into the sex dungeon without a horse’s head
How long do they normally last?: Since there are four of them, they can go all night if they want. They take breaks and tag in and out when they need to.
Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms?: Absolutely. One time things got heated at home while Laura was in a meeting with her publisher, and they made sure to make sure she got her share when she got back.
How rough are they in bed?: Softer than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it. (It just depends)
How much cuddling/snuggling do they do?: No touching after sex | 2 | 3 | 4 | A little spooning at night, or on the couch, but not in public | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They snuggle and kiss more often than a teen couple on their fifth date to a pillow factory.
Children:
How many children will they have naturally?: Six-- Cooper, Lila, Nathaniel (later renamed Natasha), Anastasia, Phoenix, and a kid I have yet to give a name to.
How many children will they adopt?: They don’t adopt anyone outright, but they definitely take in the Maximoffs (who are both alive, thank you very much).
Who gets stuck with the most diapers?: Laura. Unfortunately when you’re the only one not getting called off to save the world, it happens.
Who is the stricter parent?: Bucky likes to think he’s strict and in control of the kids, but all it takes is a set of puppy dog eyes to make him give in.
Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school?: Laura and Bucky. Natasha and Clint encourage reckless behavior.
Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)?: Clint and Laura remember, but Natasha and Bucky will give them lunch money. Neither pair realizes the other is supplying lunch/money.
Who is the more loved parent?: They’re all loved equally, but Clint gets a bit of extra attention whenever he’s home from Cooper and Lila because they spent the first few years of their lives with him in and out of the picture more frequently.
Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings?: Laura and Bucky love the PTA! Clint’s been banned, and Natasha doesn’t see the point of it.
Who cried the most at graduation?: Laura. Everyone else is emotionally constipated. This is a common pattern.
Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law?: Laura. The other three get them in trouble.
Cooking:
Who does the most cooking?: Clint and Bucky usually cook together; they’ve got a rhythm down.
Who is the most picky in their food choice?: Natasha. As a child, she wasn’t allowed to be picky; it was eat whatever you can get. Now, she enjoys being able to choose what to eat.
Who does the grocery shopping?: It depends on who’s available. They tried all going together once, and it’s never happening again.
How often do they bake desserts?: They really don’t. Darcy bakes enough to feed everyone in the Avengers Facility and then some.
Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater?: Meat is a huge part of their diet (even if Cooper cries when Daddy goes out to kill a pig for dinner).
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner?: Bucky loves cooking and surprising his wives and husband with little things, so anniversary dinner is the perfect combination.
Who is more likely to suggest going out?: The kids. Daddy and Papa are great cooks, but sometimes they just want chicken nuggets.
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking?: Natasha, who was never taught how to cook as a child and never had the time to learn as an agent.
Chores:
Who cleans the room?: Laura cleans the bedroom, Clint cleans the kitchen, Natasha cleans the living room, and Bucky cleans the bathroom. There’s also a chore wheel.
Who is really against chores?: Clint will drag his feet every time, mostly because he knows he and Bucky really messed up the kitchen last night.
Who cleans up after the pets?: Clint’s the primary pet caregiver, but if he’s out, Laura will definitely take Lucky on walks and let him curl up next to her on the couch, though she’ll deny it vehemently.
Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug?: Once more, Clint, albeit the rug is metaphorical in the kitchen.
Who stresses the most when guests are coming over?: Laura because half the time, it’s her publisher who’s a neat freak and might have an anxiety attack if she sees toys everywhere.
Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning?: Natasha, who just shrugs and pockets it.
Misc:
Who takes the longer showers/baths?: Bucky because OH MY GOD the water is hot! And it doesn’t get cold! The water wasn’t even this clear after the reforms!
Who takes the dog out for a walk?: Clint, but as mentioned before, Laura will do it and deny that she did. It doesn’t help her case that Lucky will trot up to her instead of Clint, leash in mouth.
How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays?: Every holiday has some kind of decoration, even if it’s just a sign on the door.
What are their goals for the relationship?: Be together at home as often as possible, love with all their hearts, and get Clint to stop rubbing his cold feet over everyone under the covers.
Who is most likely to sleep till noon?: Natasha, believe it or not. Usually her internal alarm will get her up, but every few weeks, she’ll just stay in bed until someone jumps on her.
Who plays the most pranks?: Really? Does this need asking? (Hint: it’s Clint)
Laclintashky since we're on the subject.
Who tops
Natasha. She’s in charge in bed, and the others all love it.
Who cooks
When they’re all home, it’s Clint and Bucky. They work surprisingly well together.
Who cries more
Laura. Everyone else is emotionally constipated.
Who kicks the other when sleeping
Bucky. He takes full advantage of the fact that he’s allowed to move around now.
Who is the couch potato
Clint! He doesn’t do it often, but when he watches shows, he binge watches and takes up the couch the whole time.
Who has the musical talents
No one unless you count Natasha’s ability to dance.
Who is clumsy
Unless he’s on a mission, it’s Clint.
Who brings up adopting a pet
Again, Clint. Laura’s completely on board, but Natasha and Bucky are on the fence.
Who kills the bugs
Laura, especially the bees. Everyone else will hide behind furniture if there’s a bee.
Who initiates the kisses
It depends on the circumstances.
