I've been curious about Links who are based off the same person in canon but they're two different Links in LAD! Like Time/Mask, Wind/Phantom, or Wild/Tear :0

Do the links from the sequel games only experience the events of the sequel? How do their personalities differ from the other Link?? (I know Time and Mask are very different, I don't think I've seen the other ones though!) And are the other people in their games the same? Like the new champions in botw, do Wild and Tears know the same people or different versions of them?? :0

Sorry I asked a lot of questions 😭 But just some things I was thinking about :3

oooooo I love these questionnnsss (also don't apologize for asking a lotta questions, I love this so much)

So the Links that come from sequel games like Totk and Mm only experience the events of that particular game as if they were a separate story from the prequel not a continuation of it

Their stories are tweaked ever so slightly to avoid plot holes that come from being a sequel game but the whole gist of the plot stays the same

For the personalities I made this cute chart because I'm a visual learner :Dc I mostly went off the ones you mentioned but if there are any others tell me and I'll make charts for them too

And as for characters that are the same in two games, I made this (the workings of who gets what group of champions/sages is still being tweaked a bit (mostly for wild and calamity) but this is the general idea)

so in short the answer is: it's different people

they may play similar roles but in they end they are separate people, I did this to avoid confusion and to better keep all the links separate characters from separate timelines and stories

Most times I tend to just make duplicates two different people (like four swords Vaati and mc Vaati) but sometimes I'll nix them from other games all together and make them exclusive to one (like purah and robbie)

(since impa appears in a BUNCH of other games and is not a botw incarnation specific character she gets multiple iterations)

I hope this was helpful and not confusing at all 😔 it makes sense to me I promise, and I can explain portions of this in more detail if you want

Oh man ...I decided to color my best so there are little to no white spaces because I figured the chapter cover should look nice if the comic itself will be just traditional lol

question for pink! what’s was his adventure like/ what is his backstory? his design is super cool!

Pink: for the most part it was freeing my Aunt's from fairy hunters while not getting caught myself. Other than that I mostly spent it exploring and talking to my mother, and you know, stopping Ganon. Tiring really, but maybe it's a fairy thing...

So backstory wise, His mother is a Great Fairy, hence his concentrated hair color and slightly longer ears.

Lore wise: When a great fairy gets lonesome or wants company, she will create stray fairies and in due time, if they stay around the fountain long enough they become fountain faires. But one stray fairy in particular came in contact with a bit of Hylia's light magic and became a child, this child was Pink. This child is essentially a fae, and was raised as the Great Fairies own. He became subject to the cruel hunting of his fairy friends, siblings, cousins, and aunts. So he decided to go and defeat the hunters and convince the king to stop the hunting and to also defeat the hunters leader, Ganon. Which he does. He also possesses both the triforce of courage and triforce of wisdom (This is due to the lack of Zelda in this era).
