love love love when kids immitate their parents in little ways

I'm in a coffee shop (it's Tuesday, of course I am) and there's this mom and her toddler waiting in line, and the toddler just starts singing 'You Are My Sunshine' while patting her mom's cheeks. She does;t have all the words or lines and she's messing it up, but she's singing a song her mom clearly sings to her, as sweetly as she can, and even as an outsider, I can see clear as day how much love exists in that family

Kids, man. They say so much just by existing.
