My Weebly site is organized by pairing, but here are the newest additions. (this post got a little wonky last time so now I’m fixing it)

What is your favorite ship? I, too, thought it was drarry.

Now, here is the kicker that is me: I don’t know.

Honestly, it might be Drarry.  However, I do love me some Dramione and Wolfstar -- a lot.

I have to be in a certain mood to read Drarry most of the time.  They are my “I feel like shit and want someone to commiserate with yet still gives me a bit of hope” mood.  I find in fics they tend to have a lot of tension (and usually angst) which I like but in doses.  Here on tumblr, the fanart and edits manage to be fluffy, thus the liberal reblogs.  We also joke a lot here on tumblr.For some reason, I also find Drarry my go-to pairing for writing.  Not sure why, but it comes to me quickly and somewhat easily.

Dramione is also a redemption-filled pairing.  I enjoy it a lot; it’s a top five.  Depending on the fic it can also vary on fluffiness, but it tends to be on the more dramatic side as well.

Wolfstar is all about the era you pick -- the younger they are, generally the fluffier and funnier it will be.  I love those goofballs (all the marauders).  I think this was probably my first non-cannon ship.  Possibly Drarry as well.  But I think this one was floating around in my mind when I read the books -- though at the time I didn’t think to deviate from canon except for my self-indulgent daydreams. 

I’m not sure if that answered the question, but it’s what I can think of off-hand.  Honestly, I follow writers more than I follow specific ships.

I’ve thought of making a whole list of my ships and fic recs for them.  It would not be as epic as Shaya’s (and mirror hers a lot) but I’d like to track better than I have in the past.

Also, I’ve been super content to just read drabbles, etc. here on tumblr for a while.  Fanfiction is absolutely used as escapism for me.  Which, is okay sometimes, but I’m trying to not get lost in that these days.  So I haven’t actually read fics in a while.  Shorter stuff is easier to manage right now.  On top of that, I’m trying to produce before I consume, which in fandom means writing before reading.  Therefore my reading goes down even more... One day though... I have sooo many things waiting for me.

I’ll almost always try a ship at least once.

I lowkey ship so much be alrighty let’s go haha (also I an anon had sent this to me as well and I was just about to get to it, so this is for the both of you <33)

1. Katie Bell x Marcus Flint... I don’t know that I actually lowkey them but I definitely don’t talk about them much on here lol. Not for any particular reason, just not a following for them here. But with them I just, these two are pretty perfect to me in a dysfunctional way and I love the people that write for them like crazy (I think I may love all people that write for Marcus tbh xD).

2. Cho x Dudley... Let me just say, omg these two. I never knew I shipped them until I saw their names together and KO, that was it, I was absolutely smitten. The idea of Dudley learning to accept and perhaps embrace magic from Cho, and Cho finding someone who just adores her for her is the best in my head. I so need to write something for the two of them.

3. And most recently the thing that’s happened that I need to get out of my head... Blaise x Lily Luna. It sounds so odd Ik, and it is pretty much crack, but I read an amazing piece on Blaise loving Ginny and falling for Lily as a substitute years later and it was fascinating af the way the author did it, in my opinion.

What if petunia was the magical one and lily wasn't?

Oh man, this is tough

Okay so first of all, Lily would be super excited, she’d think it was literally the best, and she would constantly want Petunia to “do tricks” for her

Lily wouldn’t care that she’s not a witch, but secretly she’s terrified that everything is going to change between her and Petunia and she doesn’t want that at all

But she tries to hide her tears when they take Petunia to Platform 9 ¾ because Tuney is so excited

Or at least Petunia is acting like she’s so excited, but really she’s very nervous, because she has no idea what she’s doing and she’s going off on her own for the first time ever

Petunia is sorted into Hufflepuff because she’s very loyal, to a point. She’s the kind of person who will defend you til her dying breath, until the moment you piss her off and then there’s no turning back. But it’s hard to get her to that point.

At first, things are great, Petunia makes friends, she does decently in her classes (she was never very academic, but she’s skilled)

But Petunia is so lonely, she misses her sister so much, and so does Lily, but they both want each other to be happy too much to say anything, so they just kind of suffer in silence

During third year, Petunia doesn’t go home for breaks because she’s struggling a bit more with classes and some of her professors have agreed to work with her a little bit extra during the time off

She comes home for the summer after third year, and she finds that Lily has become best friends with some boy, and they hang out all the time and they do everything together, and Petunia feels like her heart is breaking, because she doesn’t feel like she has any role in Lily’s life anymore

It’s maybe an overreaction, but Petunia can’t help it

The only way Petunia can deal is to push Lily away, so she grows colder, and Lily doesn’t know why so she keeps her distance, and the problem only grows

Petunia goes back to Hogwarts feeling broken hearted and betrayed, and she doesn’t feel like she belongs in Hufflepuff anymore, because she doesn’t feel nice and happy and friendly, and that’s what everyone thinks Hufflepuffs are

She starts spending lots of time in the library, avoiding the common room because it doesnt feel like home anymore, its just not as comforting

And the wizarding world is starting to get very hairy, and Petunia is too afraid to tell her parents, and too distant to tell Lily, and it makes her feel so very alone

She meets a Slytherin boy in the library, he’s from a Pureblood family, and with all the things going on in the wizarding world, she doesn’t tell him that she’s muggle born, because she doesn’t know if she can trust him

He’s the only one who doesn’t make her feel so alone though, and she likes that, needs that

When she finally tells him that she’s a muggle born, he’s not surprised, says he had kind of worked it out, from the way she reacted to things other purebloods said

He tells her that he hadn’t ever really bought the whole pureblood mania anyway, and knowing her confirmed that

But he does believe that wizards are superior to other races (house elves, centaurs, giants, goblins, etc) and he sort of manages to convince Petunia of it

They start dating in their 6th year

Petunia starts taking private lessons with Madam Pomfrey because she likes the idea of nursing, healing, and because she things there’ll be more of that needed with the war coming

She graduates, and things are difficult - she and her boyfriend aren’t Death Eaters, but they’re not in the Order either, they’re just kind of neutral

Petunia becomes a sort of blackmarket nurse for anyone who needs it - she’s one of the few who will treat Death Eaters and Order members alike, so after skirmishes and battles and little street fights the ones who aren’t dead come to find her

Sometimes they bring the dead to her, in denial, hoping there’s something she can do, but there never is

It bothers her more than she lets on

A year after they graduate, her bf proposes, and she accepts, wanting stability more than anything. The war is taking its toll on her, and she sort of wants to give it all up, no more nursing, just a quiet life as a wife and a mum

It’s another year before they get married, and she lets Lily come, but she won’t let her be a bridesmaid, its just been too long

Petunia is surprised when Lily shows up on her doorstep a few months later, sobbing, and they sit in the kitchen, and Petunia makes tea for them

Lily’s pregnant, she’s so young and pregnant because she messed up and the stupid boy, the one she was friends with that drove Petunia away in the first place, he’s gone (she won’t say how or when or why, but Petunia can guess) and Lily’s scared, but she’s determined that she can do this

Petunia says their sons can be best friends (she only just found out about a week ago, and she hasn’t told anyone but her husband yet)

That thought dries Lily’s tears and brings a smile to her face, the idea of them, mothers together, with sons, son’s who are as close as they were when they were young
