I couldn’t wait to smoke this cigar, so excuse to the hair and very little makeup. Now onto the review! By @artesanodeltobacco The.... Viva La Vida Robusto Wrapper: Habano Oscuro 2000 Binder: Corojo 99 Filler: Criollo 98 The Master minds behind this amazing cigar are Billy & Gus Fakih, with this cigar being their first blend with the new cigar brand. The appearance of these cigars are wonderful, and has a stunning; “eye catching” cigar band. I love it! I used a straight cut as usual. With the cold draw, I tasted dried fruit, light spices and cocoa. It lit well and evenly. With the 1st third, I tasted notes of wood, nuts, light black pepper, hint of cinnamon and floral. Going into the 2nd third, the wood notes in the first third changed to a charred wood flavor, and chocolate! Almost reminded me of S’mores! Which paired very nicely with my coffee. It is developing a really nice white ash at this point, and has lots of smoke. During the final third, the creamy chocolate turns more into a dark chocolate flavor, and a hint of espresso. As well as a hint of rich maple syrup and light black pepper. With the black pepper becoming the dominant at the end of the cigar. The Viva La Vida cigar was a delightful smoke to the nub, and has become one of my top 5 cigars!
