This hints ata Xavier being literally older than Philos BUT in KoD myth, we see Xavier in Philos as a literal child unless something very weird happens in earth.

The other possibility I can think of is that the child Xavier we saw is a complete different one from a very different universe/branch.

I wonder, since now it’s official that MC has digested that Xavier is an “alien” the story/future memories will start leaning into the time traveling factor of Xavier

In theory white in china is a mourning color and one normally sees dead people dressed in white but also mourners, so this could be a Lan Zhan situation and the one in mourning is Xavier all the way back from when Mc died in the anecdote and until it gets to a point in the story in which the Mc in that timeline does not need to die for a fucked up world Xavier might not stop wearing white

Maybe that’s why he leaves, god I’m writing a whole fic in my head with my delusions, anyways he leaves cause he wants to take the backtrackers who don’t help him anymore back to where they came from fulfill his promise on the way but most of all check that what he is changing in the past is taking effect Ik the future and by that I mean check that MC in the future does not need to die incessantly for the fucked up world, and then come back, maybe Mc in the future is mad as fuck cause Xavier is gone there so he has to come back and make sure to be with her (I’m talking his rute) and take care of himself so that Mc in the future is not miserable and alone, stay by her side from the start of everything going wrong and staying together towards the future, yk?
