Kitten Walker - Daughter of Drury Walker, she ran away from home after several failed attempts to get her father’s attention, including designing and commissioning Sionis to create her costume in order to look more like him (granted with her own… pizazz).
However, she intended to return home shortly afterwards but got lost along the way. Eventually finding her way to Ace Chemicals she snuck inside, drawn by the allure of the glowing vats of an odd mixture.
Coincidentally at that same time Bridget Pike (Lady Firefly) had snuck inside as well, but instead of ogling at pretty lights she was hired to burn the building down by Black Mask.
As the building burned down Bridget took in the glory of her blue flame, equally Kitten was as well. Drawn in by the light Kitten startled Bridget leading the pair to run around as Bridget attempted to distance herself from this weird moth girl.
Officer Barbara Gordon responded to an emergency call and went into the building to see if any civilians were still inside, catching a glimpse of Killer Moth.
After that day Kitten closely followed Bridget around Gotham City, comforted by the warmth of her fire.
Bridget Pike - A 20 year old Firefighter and Arsonist by night, she was mentored by Garfield Lynns (Firefly) who taught her the ways of fire both in igniting and fighting, while equally trying to provide therapy for her.
She lives in the slums of Gotham within a rundown motel after dropping out of college, her room having a bed with mold and numerous roaches, the only safe sleeping area being a cheap couch.
Due to her busy schedule she often times goes days without sleeping, sometimes forgetting when the last time she slept was, leading to near permanent eye bags and bed hair from the couple of hours she gets for slumber.
In her day to day she goes to work as a firefighter to quell her pyromaniacal desires, at night she lights a pack matches before going to sleep. In severe cases of insomnia she has set fire to abandoned or condemned buildings, using her training to ensure the best possible safety she can.
She only took up the title of Firefly following the disappearance of Garfield, now spending large swaths of her night trying to figure out where he could’ve gone.
After running into Killer Moth she found the little bug annoying at first but eventually loosed up, finding her attraction to the blue flames she could produce amusing.
Kitten often purrs when she is comfortable, a trait she inherited from her mother in the short time they spent together.
She especially displays this when sleeping as she enjoys being close to, at least, something warm which comes from when she was a infant falling asleep in her father’s fur, this is to the dismay of Bridget Pike whose sleep schedule is absolutely abysmal and now has to deal with Kitten’s clinginess.
