So I checked out Mary Kirby's new audiodrama project with North Mist Studios and I'm looking forward to listening more, but something about the pacing and style of the dialogue reminded me of this audiobook I'd picked up a while back, Enoch the Traveler by Lady Soliloque, which was narrated by Gareth David-Lloyd, aka Solas in Dragon Age and Ianto Jones in Torchwood.
Enoch is a fun story with a lot of Doctor Who/Torchwood vibes that I enjoyed, and I recommend it! I'd never been able to find out much else about the series but as a stand-alone audiodrama, it was a good time! Anyway, yesterday I ended up biting the bullet and ordered a used paper copy of the prequel, The Immortal Game, to sate my curiosity about what happened in the story leading up to Enoch.
Did a little more googling this morning while I was thinking about it again and... huh. Weird coincidence. Well, it's out for free now so you should check it out!
