Oh yeah, there's mini-versions of their planned BBI selves running around the factory.

And here's some fun facts about the suckers, under the cut, left-to-right:

Mini-Sergeants, like the BBI one, can't remove their goggles. They're effectively their eyes, and you can somewhat tell their mood depending on the brightness of the LED lenses. They also flicker when about to doze off, and go completely off when asleep (or y'know, dead).

Yes, they can fly. But they don't flap their wings like actual birds, since they're basically toy drones. They can also record what they see and project it through their goggles and such.

You're unlikely to find two mini-laces that look the same. Since the whole gimmick was being able to switch limbs with each other, many of them survive by stealing limbs from other earlier (failed and dead) laces.

...There were also many failed test Bigger Bodies of Lady Lace, whose limbs were planned to be recycled for the final product that Yara was supposed to be.

Mini-Charlies are...absolutely covered in gold glitter that gets annoying real quick. Unlike BBI Charlie though, they don't have any extra eyes hidden in their wings.

They also tend to be in a huge disadvantage, because the glow of their haloes give them away to any hunting toy in need of a meal. Because of that, only few mini-Charlies remain.

Mini-Sweeneys can't fly, but they can glide. Y'know, like actual flying squirrels. Other than being a Valentines toy, the design choice to make Sweeney pink was because real flying squirrels are pink under UV light.

Their stomachs are also akin to color-changing sequin pillows, except it reveals a 'Will you be my Valentine?' message, or a similarly cheesy Valentines message.

Mini-Chocos tend to have different designs for their little egg hats. They can remove it, it's just hard because of the ears. It's also because the 'chocolate dripping' on their heads emit a chocolate scent that's better off covered.

The actual commercially sold Choc-O'hares were advertised as self-hatching, like Hatchimals. That's how all of the mini experiment versions wake up after surgery.

...Mini-Sweeneys and mini-Chocos can loaf.

My sister has this unexplainable hatred on Nathan, and by extension, every mini-Sergeant 💀

Notes:

Lady-lace had an update design from the last one, where parents complained about her looking too 'suggestive'. Her main gimmick is her ability to match and mismatch parts with other Lady-lace dolls inspired by other different monsters, like the Swapimals and even like a potato head. As a bonus, she glows in the dark.

Her clothes and even her hair can be swapped as well. All of this combined made her a highly customizable doll that became heavily sought for by little girls, while still being a center of controversy amongst parents. Regardless, she is the most successful out of all of Playtime Co.'s Halloween toys.
