Arya as a companion
This was done a while ago as akind of cooperation/rp with @ladyapollo3583 featuring her AriellaTrevelyan as Inquisitor and my Arya as her cousin and potential companion. We did two parts and I just like the idea and it’s a pity it got lost along the way a bit. So I decided to bring the parts together and repost.
part1 - Arrival
„Inquisitor.“ Josephine approached her with blush cheeks and a bit out of breath. „Can I have a moment?“ „Sure, Josie, what is it?“ Ariella always had a smile for her advisers, no matter what day- or nighttime. „We have a strange request.“ Ariella stretched out her hand, already expecting a scroll being handed over, but Josephine shook her head. „It’s a more… direct… approach. Let me explain.“ she added when she saw a frown on the Inquisitors pretty face. „An Apostate arrived today at Skyhold. Dark hair, violet eyes. Loud, stubborn, daring. Claims she is a relative to you.“ „Arya? Arya Trevelyan?“ Ariella’s eyes became bigger. „An Apostate you say? I had a cousin at the Ostwick circle but we were told she was dead a few years ago. Killed on an escape attempt.“ Josie shrugged. „Well this lady is alive… Very alive.“ „What does she want? Gold?“ The ambassador shook her head. „It seems she wants to join the Inquisition. But she asked to talk to you first. Will you grant it?“ „Sure, sure…“ Ariella still chewed on the unexpected news. „Where is she?“ „Last thing I knew is that she was the center of a merry company at the Heralds Rest…“ was there resignation in Josie's voice? “Thank you, Josie. I really must see her for myself.” Ariella nodded at the Antivan woman, and then left her quarters without another word. Her feet flew upon hearing her favorite cousin was here, at Skyhold, at the Herald’s Rest. She hadn’t seen Arya in… Maker, it had been absolutely too long. The news of her death had taken a tremendous toll on Ari. They had been close, growing up Ari had considered her the closest thing to a sister she’d ever had. As she bounded through the great hall, she wrapped her robe around her and tied the sash with a knot. Of course she would come in the middle of the night, she hadn’t remembered Arya to be any different. Vaulting down the steps barefoot in the dark reminded Ari of the shenanigans they’d gotten into in their youth. Already just like old times, except she hadn’t even greeted her cousin yet. If she was truly here, if Arya was truly alive, she was sure she would burst with happiness. The door to the tavern flung open dramatically as Ariella launched herself into the building. Blue eyes quickly scanned the room. Krem was in his usual spot, Bull’s seat was suspiciously empty, and Maryden was tuning her lute. She could hear a burst of Bull’s laughter from the second level. Ariella climbed those steps as quickly as she could, but Maker her thighs were going to complain in the morning! Bull sat facing the stairs at a table with a dark haired woman, who surprisingly wore the same hairstyle that she did. That had to be her. “Boss!” He bellowed, slamming his tankard down. “There’s another you walking around in here!” She approached the table cautiously, all haste thrown away. It was then that violet eyes came to rest on her own blue eyes. “Cousin? Arya?” „Ariella. It’s been a long time.” she looked serious but there is a well known spark deep inside her eyes. But the Inquisitor was not yet convinced. „You don’t look like a mage.” she told the other woman bluntly and with a stale gaze on the armor that the new arrival wore and the bastard blade she carried. „Good.” a cocky grin. „I’ve been told an Apostate was asking for me. All I see is a warrior.” Both women measured each other with looks. „Never judge a book by its cover, cousin.” with a smug grin, the dark haired warrior stretched out her hands and all in a sudden the air was bristling from violet flashes and a thunder rolled far in the distance. „I could have come in my dancer costume but I guess you would not have liked that either.” „So why this masquerade?” Ariella demanded to know. „You could have come just as you are.” A sad smile on Aryas face. „Well, what you see is what I am. What I needed to become to be free. Of course I could have found me a staff and a nice robe and just hope that I don’t meet a bunch of crazy Templars on my way here… or a bunch of crazy Mages… it’s not really a difference nowadays, who kills you off…” „Why you came?” Ariella wanted to know. Slowly she relaxed. Saw the remains of her dear childhood-friend behind all this harsh appearance. „Because word goes, that this Inquisition is going to restore order again. And since you are the only person I remember from my childhood being nice with me, I thought I could give it a try. I can fight. With magic as well as with my sword. I’m not officially trained but you can consider me a battle mage. And…” a long pause and when she resumed, her voice was low and full of resignation: „I’m tired. Tired of running. Of hiding. Of killing innocent people who’s only crime is to discover what I am. You can judge me for that or you can take my offer and I will fight for the Inquisition. Your choice cousin.” part 2 - Sparring „Parry! Parry! Block!“ Cullen already was out of breath and they were just sparring for a short time. „Block! Lady Trevelyan… watch your form! You simply cannot rush forward like that.“
Desperately he stood against Arya Trevelyan who was not to convince that she should work on her defense and use some fighting forms. She forced forward, wielding her bastard sword in a fury.
The Commander finally got tired of trying to educate her fighting style and just fought back. He was fast and strong and all in a sudden the tables turned and now he forced her into defense and she had to step back until she felt a wall at her back.
Ariella and every one on the sparring ground held their breath and the Inquisitor wondered already how her cousin would deal with her defeat when suddenly…
A violet ball of bristling energy emerged from Arya's hand and she threw it onto Cullen who was pushed back and was literally knocked from his feet and slid a few yards over the cobblestone.
„Lady Trevelyan! What are you doing?“ Cullen shouted. Still agitated from the heat of fight and the unfair defeat.
Before anyone could answer, the Warden stepped onto the ground, almost playfully swirling his massive two hander in only one hand before he tightened his grip with both hands. „She survives, Cullen. And she seems talented with that. So allow me Commander, to take over the training?“
„You can have her.“ Cullen grinned and walked over to Ariella who was torn between checking on him and not missing a thing from what was going on between the two warriors on the yards.
“Are you bleeding?”
“No,” Cullen answered.
“You’ll be fine. You pout like a puppy, Commander,” Ariella whispered, not taking her eyes off the two now in the yards. She wouldn’t belittle him in front of the troops, but she did notice how dejectedly he stalked back to her. She pressed against the post she was leaning on, and crossed her arms over her chest. This would prove to be interesting. Ariella had never seen her cousin’s magic, they had whisked her away to the Circle without a second look back.
“Did you see the color of it? It was purple!” She clapped her hands together, then refolded her arms, excited to see her cousin’s use of magic.
“I saw it,” Cullen grumbled.
Warden Blackwall and Arya seemed to dance around the yard. A playful lunge here, a jump backward there.
“Show me your magic!” Ariella called, daring to come a bit closer. “Cousin, show me what you can do other than knock people down.” Now she was business, she was Inquisitor Trevelyan. She was no Commander, true, but she knew what she was looking for in a mage. “Show me offensive strikes first.”
“Yes, lass. Show us your magic.” the warrior dared her. “If you find the time to cast it!” Blackwall got in position and lifted his twohander up.
Arya glanced at him and a mocking smirk curled her lips. “This will hurt, Ser Warden.” Cullen from the side nodded as he already knew how much, but he kept silent. Blackwall raised his chin and his eyes measured the Mage with the confidence of a lifetime under the sword.
“Don’t you worry, lass. I can take a blow or two. And you may call me Blackwall like anybody else.” And with that he attacked. No more warning, no time for her to get into position, as he stormed forward wielding his blade and gave Arya a hard time to duck and fight back from her defense. Ariella watched carefully. Her cousin carried so much anger within herself. But she had the grace of a dancer when she escaped all the blows the much larger and heavier warrior inflicted on her. And she was able to bring herself into the right position and suddenly they all heard thunder roll when a thunderstorm approached out of nothing. Aryas hand emitted more purple light. Incidentally while she crossed blades with Blackwall. He recognized but had no time to consider what to do. It was too late when finally a violet bristling lightning appeared and she just let it jump over onto her opponent. Blackwall was shaken by the pain that obviously rushed through his body. The lightning energy made him shiver and he had a hard time to keep control about himself and most of all he was busy not losing the grip on his weapon.
Ariella clasped her hands and jumped up and down in excitement. This magic was raw and effective. And it looked beautiful at the same time.
Meanwhile Arya stepped back from Blackwall to let her sword down and relax. She gave her opponent the time to recover from his painful experience.
“Want more, Ser Warden?” she teased.
He rushed forward The rough fury of his strike blew her off her feet so that she rolled several yards over the training ground and lost her sword. She jumped back to her feet and rolled her shoulders and cracked the joints of her neck by tilting her head sharply to both sides. The energy blast emerged so fast out of nothing no one saw it coming. The least Blackwall who literally only realized that she threw a swirling ball of purple magic on him, when it hit him right into the guts. The air fled his lungs with a groan and he needed a few moments to find breath again.
Time enough for her to get her sword back. Ariella wondered why in Andrastes name she was always so keen to have this sword. Who wanted to fight with a sword when they could use magic like this? But she decided not disturb the flow of the fight by giving surprising orders now. She decided to find out later.
“You have another one, Arya?” she asked instead, her voice full of excitement.
“Sure” the Mage shrugged and smiled while she and Blackwall still circled each other with their weapons ready.“But I can’t cast this one on him. He’s too close. It would kill him.”
“Do not underestimate my stamina, lass!” He growled with a wolfish grin. “I’m hard to kill.”
“I can see that, Ser Warden. And to be honest, it would be a shame to kill such a… skilled man. With such a huge… sword.” she grinned back with a sassy face, never getting off guard just because they started teasing each other.
“You, lass, act like someone who clearly begs to get her ass spanked with a huge… sword!” Blackwall blurted back and Ariella almost choked on her giggles. She knew Blackwall as fearless and daring on the battlefield but always chivalrous if not reluctant towards women. This was clearly some new facet she discovered on him.
“Come and try, Ser Warden!” Arya could not step back and quit the game.
“Maker, what are they doing?” Cullen's voice appeared close to Ariella's ear. “They will kill each other.”
“Oh, I doubt that.” Ariella hissed back with an amused smile on her beautiful face. This is going to be utterly interesting.”
“Interesting? How?” Cullen's eyes wandered between the two opponents and Ariella and back to them.
“They flirt, Cullen! Like there is no tomorrow!” Ari sighed with a grin.
“Blackwall? Flirting?” the Commander shook his head.
“Hard to believe, isn’t it? But just look at them, we’ll have to empty a bucket of cold water on them if they won’t stop soon.”
Now Cullen snorted in amusement. “Maybe you should distract them, before we really have to…”
Ariella clapped her hands approvingly. “That was great Arya. You’ll have to show us your last move on a more expendable target later, dear! Thank you for this literally enlightening demonstration, you two. For now I’ve seen enough.” and she nodded her greetings and turned to leave the yards. “See you later at my chambers, Arya. We have to talk about how to put your skills to best use for the Inquisition.”
“Aye, cousin.” the dark haired mage nodded while she let her blade slide back into its sheath. Blackwall did the same and Arya was already about to turn away and leave, when his hand suddenly closed tightly around her wrist.
“Well, I think I haven’t seen enough, lass. By far not enough!” He stepped closer, so no one would hear what they were talking now. Arya looked up on his massive frame. Her violet eyes met his grey ones and she had a hard time not to simply drown in them.
“You can have a rematch anytime you want.” she managed to smile. She stood close. Inappropriate close. All in a sudden he remembered where they were. He cleared his throat released her from his grip.
“Good to know. I’ll get back to this generous offer but now we should return to our duties before I get too carried away.” Now suddenly his harsh voice held a soft undertone which inflicted a feeling of butterflies in her stomach.
“As you wish, Ser…” she smiled. Sweet and soft all in a sudden. “Blackwall.”
“You are welcome, l… ady Arya.” he even implied a little bow before he finally turned around and hurried away with no further greetings. Arya smiled when she finally followed her Cousin back into the keeps’ main hall and up to her chambers to talk about her future.
It looked brighter already, Arya decided.

On this one, I couldn’t avoid the white awful thing otherwise the framing would be less interesting. I hope you don’t mind. :)

Hi!! I have another request... no rush, just when you have time... Can you get a few pictures of King Alistair please? I know he isn't in game much, but anything will do!
Ok ! I will do my best.I’m with King Alistair right now, he is so gentle and accepted to pose for screenshots. I asked him for posing nude but Queen Anora wanted to kill me for my insolence. She’s too stupid to understand anything about artistic nudes.Anyway, King Alistair is perfect and my future posts will be about him. :)
I... do not ever wash my face (well like in the shower I do) and I do not ever wash off my makeup before bed (when I wear it).
I totally do the same things!
For me… when I only work for hal a day I’ll only take a pirate bath. I tell myself I will shower when I get home, I do not always shower.
Second, I assign a random cloth as the booger cloth. To nobody’s knowledge, but my own. I have watched my husband use it without breathing a word.
White
White: 3 facts about my personality
(I just had a mental freakout because I forgot what I’m like lol)
1. I’m a pretty quiet person, and I’m horrible at maintaining a conversation. I run out of things to say after 30 seconds o.o As a result, people usually think I’m a snob or I get the “you’re so quiet” comment. (Doesn’t help that I have resting bitch face either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
2. I’m shy. I usually try to remain unnoticed, sticking to the desks on the outer edges of a classroom and I try to avoid eye contact as well. (Eye contact is kind of intense for me, I can’t hold it unless I’m comfortable around the person.)
3. I try to be non-judgmental as much as I can. I know how crappy it is when you’re trying to express yourself to someone and all you get in return are weird looks. -_-
Thanks for the ask! :)
