‘17 Gyro Gearloose has Vriska Syndrome.

What is Vriska Syndrome? well, here’s a rundown:

-At first, portrayed as a very cold, or mean person [The great dime chase]

-Seems to be very manipulative at first, and may seem like as either a bad or poorly written character [Beware the BUDDY system]

-after some time, the character is given some depth due to some off-handed dialogue and is noted to maybe not be what they seem [Who is Gizmoduck?!]

-this gives the character the push it needs to develop over the course of the story, leaving both the character and the surrounding characters in a better spot, but they still have their flaws, which they work out with someone they can view as an SO or close friend [Who is Gizmoduck?!]

-eventually truly redeems themselves by not only helping the story as a whole, but without them, the story for certain characters would be incredibly different [TBA, due to the series not being finished]

@ladyariaa Sorry for responding like...two days after the fact! I figured instead of copy-pasting all of your comments I’d just respond in one post like this. Thank you for your kind words on my drabbles! I’ve really enjoyed taking part in this and once my family vacation is over I plan to write more Gravesbeaks. I’ve enjoyed your art and your fics too! I finally submit my very own Darkwing Duck fanbaby on @ocs-of-duckverse who originally started as a random side thought and now I love her.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Character Name: Chloe Hannigan

Alias: the Godmother of Saint Canart, Chloe, Chloe Scarlett Hannigan (her full name)

Age: 27 (born 3 years after the comics)

Gender: cis female

Sexual orientation: “straight”, but she’s actually heteroflexible ; she doesn’t know this word exists and is quite closetted tho

Species: goat, even if actually half cow

Occupation: mob boss, criminal, one of Quiverwing Quack’s worst enemies

Appearance: Chloe is half-cow half-goat but she entirely looks like a goat, with a light grey fur, big horns like her father’s and a muzzle looking her father’s but twice or thrice smaller, and visible irises, that are sky blue. She is a fake blonde (her true haircolor is greyish brown) with very puffy long hair she has a hard time not to get messy because of her hot temper. She is of the same size as her parents, except when she wears those big wood-textured heels she always wears, on which she looks slightly taller which is her goal. Her shoes have a golden buckle, golden like her necklace’s diformed pearl that coincidently looks like a tiny cowbell attached to black velvet. She wears black stockings, a beige suit with shoulder pads and a flesh-color folded skirt.

Personality: she is very bratty, resulting to having been quite spoiled as a kid, always wanting things to happen like she wanted to and can throw tantrums if one tiny thing is not like she wants, as she is a perfectionisit, and also a  narcisist with a big ego and pride, loving to show off and displaying very very expensive stuff she bought and loves to look elegant wearing high brand clothes only. She is extremely hot tempered (from Hammerhead but x10 more) and basically would like to fight anyone over nothing, and thus is almost always under a state of grumpiness as her “neutral” face shows, that plus her disdain for others (she is easily annoyed and tends to look down at people) in general and her dominating personality. However she is very intelligent (from Clovis) and can make plans and strategies and manages her own mob business (that she created herself) and crimes without anyone except her enemy Quiverwing Quack (who she hates in a childish way, like hitting the floor with her foot “I HATE HER I HATE HER I HATE HER”) noticing that. She is quite a loner, with her independant personality, as she loves only a very few people : her parents who she loves, admires and respects, and (even if she is very VERY tsundere about it, especially when lust comes along because of her closet) @ladyariaa‘s Tesla (my AU, not hers, in hers I doubt Chloe exists or at least that they meet lol) to who, even if at first she hated her, she preogressively felt friendship too. By the way a reason of her closet is she is a bit homophobic and as she adores her parents to her this is the ideal family and seeing 2 same sex parents to her is abnormal and bad for the kid ; needless to say her parents do not agree but they let her think what she wants. Oh and being in the mafia let’s not forget she is unscrupulous and can cold bloodly murder someone.

Biography: Chloe had a great and loving childhood with her parents who cherished her even and tended to spoil her a bit. But her childhood was not “normal” either as her daddy was actually a mob boss and her mommy his secretary. So she grew in scams, crimes, murders, robberies... and loved it. Inspired by her parents and also their former boss she never knew but whose they often talked about, Taurus Bulba, she decided she’ll be one too someday, but not just inheriting her daddy’s that was not challenging. Once out of college, she immediatly started to borrow some of his men and used them to hire her own and make her first crimes, and maker her own money out of it. In only 2 years, she would become THE main mob boss of Saint Canard at only 27, a mafia gang friend with her father’s of course, but even protecting it as bigger. Inspired by Bulba, she went further than just being the usual godmother, and wanted to use her “talent” as she calls it to become more and make herself known, feared and respected everywhere. But Quiverwing Quack (who is 40 by now, poor girl starts to act more like her dad did) is here and always prevents her to do some international crime. OOOOH GOOOOD she hates heeer... OOOOH GOOOOD she wishes her deeead... But she doe sees she is not as powerful and lucky as her when it comes to fight her. This is at this moment she met by fate Tesla Sputterspark, another enemy of Quiverwing, in a bank robbery  in which the 2 villainesses coincidently were. Hating her because of her opposite personality and her lack of class and personal space, but actually impressed by her supernatural electricity powers that actually CAN hurt Quiverwing and make her struggle more, she actually decides to team up, thinking her worst enemy could finally get roasted, literally. Tesla, thinking she made a friend, accepts quickly, but being that clingy and trollish kind of friend, she would never let her go since then and EVEN invite herself in her villa as her self-proclaimed roomie. Chloe (at least the first times, as she would grow attached to her with time even if tsun tsun about it) would absolutely regret it and the only reason that would prevent her to kick her out or beat her up or murder her herself are that she does think she could exploit her power in some way for her plans and also because she quite fears that if she bugs her too much she would be the one roasted to ashes. Quiverwing Quack keeps succeeding at stopping them always in time, but Chloe is still sure the 2 of them can win one day. Her stubborness told it.

EXTRA TIDBITS

Open to RP: no

Super powers and/or special abilities: she has a gift at being a leader due to her dominating and independant side, she can run very fast, she is quite flexible and can kick, punch and more importantly headbutt violently with her horns (horns she also uses to open or unscrew locked door or boxes) and basically knows how to use every type of guns.

Myer-Briggs: to be fair I know nothing about it, nothing corresponds to her ?

Psychiatric/mental disorders: one could say she has anger issues and narcissism

Astrological sign: Aries (lol get it why ?)

she is left-handed

she is allergic to peanuts, it gives her zits (unfortunately Tesla loves peanuts)

in case of intense fear or pain, instead of screaming, she can moo, and it embarrasses her a lot ; not that she is ashamed of her bovine origins, not at all, but she is just aware people are weirded out as physically she looks caprine

she tends to have short nights because of Tesla’s shit who keeps her awake

she has arachnophobia

she hates when people makes her notice her pearl looks like a cowbell ; especially as she bought it herself without noticing the ressemblance

she despises getting dirty, especially when wearing her expensive clothes

she adores her horns, as she finds them beautiful and are useful in fights, they are the part of her body she takes the most care of

she dyes herself blonde like her mother (I headcanon she is a fake blonde too) because she thinks she’s the classiest lady ever

talking about Clovis, Chloe and Hammerhead are the only people who can read through her constant neutral expression and actually know what emotion is hiding behind. However, Chloe is the only person who can read through Clovis’ constant monotone voice and actually knows what emotion is behind it

That moment when you start shipping a crackship you made up out of nowhere (Hammerhead Hannigan X Clovis) and you end up seeing it work so much you give them a fanchild and draw her BEFORE drawing them. And I loved designing her.

So Chloe is only 27 but became a the godmother of her own mafia, inspiring herself from the infamous Taurus Bulba she heard from her parents and inheriting her base from her father’s who started his own little mob business after Taurus Bulba “died” in the pilot and as we can see in the Derek Blunt episode). This proves she is very intelligent and good with business and crime, but she’s actually a total egocentric proud brat, wearing only expensive brands, showing off every new expensive things she just bought and loving herself to a level that must not be healthy, and don’t you dare to tell her she is in the wrong or you would end up stuffed with bullets (worse scenario) or beaten up (best scenario) ; the only persons who can tell her she is on the wrong are her parents, and EVEN MORE her mother who has creepy calm/silent angers. She also HATES Quiverwing Quack (who is now on her early 40′s, Darkwing Duck retired long ago because of his age) with passion, throwing tantrums betraying her very coleric nature when she sees her or when she ruins her plans.

She sometimes teams up with @ladyariaa‘s Tesla (show her to the world !), the new generation mix of Megavolt and Quackerjack with more powerful electricity powers than Megavolt (guess who are the parents hehehe NO MPREG @ladyariaa will explain herself) and their opposite personalities truely irritates her, Tesla is completely oblivious and keeps joking and touching her and not leaving her personal space and keeps calling her friend and keeps being intrusive, which always drives the more strict and grumpier Chloe nuts who just often yell at her she hates her (at least she hated her the first times they went duo together but she now feels friendships feelings toward her but she just will never tell it out loud)

When will people think I am making shit to this fandom and banish me because this looks and sounds stupid I am shameful ?
