Im kinda surprised at the lack of hype in regards to a specific fact given to us in Chat Blanc.

You know, how during his confession, Adrien admits that he always had feelings for Marinette but just didn’t realize (until he finds out she’s Ladybug) but emphasis on how he refers to these feelings as something existing prior to this discovery.

So whilst all of Chat Blanc has been retconned out of existence, one tidbit remains. Adrien loves Marinette. He just doesn’t know it.

Also, uh, the comic has to be put on hold until I finish this paid work I have. Unfortunately it’s a LOT of work (and one of the clients is being super picky...) so all I can do is hope to get it done as quickly as possible so I can get back to the comic.

I’m rewatching Season Two but like, dude, Miraculous Ladybug has such an anime plot. Like I could totally see this being easier to digest if it was an anime. All the salt I have would lessen, because I expect this kind of drama and over the top stuff from anime. I’ve read so much manga (terrible internet, so not much anime) and like there’s soooo much drama manga out there like this. Like Kamichyama Karen (I think it was that), I loved that shit and it just reminds me of ML in this weird way. /rant

She’s also close to Papillion’s civilian form, Gabriel

Being a liar means she is creative enough to create Akumas

Also, her simply being in the episode at all, TALKING TO CHRIS OF ALL PEOPLE (the Akuma of the episode), feels like some plot bunnies are being laid down

ML AU - Ladybug Family

I rewatched Origins recently and like... what if Marinette thought her father was the best candidate?? Then Tom decides to make them a FAMILY HERO TEAM like, they take turns wearing the Miraculous. How cute would it be with them interacting with Chat Noir as a family unit. Char Noir with Marinette’s dad called “Red Velvet” and it being cute him trying to prove himself knowing that it’s Ladybugs dad But Tom is like no need son I’m always proud of you and Chat Noir just breaks down. it’s just like, Adrien further falls into his superhero side because it’s like he has a family, he asks them advice and it’s cute. They help him heal when Gabriel is revealed as Hawkmoth.
