Porte-bonheur

Hi this is my first comic!! I am planning a part 2, I hope you like it :)

The lucky charms Marinette & Adrien gave each other seem increasingly relevant, and in the original French theme, a main part of the chorus just says “porte-bonheur,” meaning “lucky charm.” I think if it was referring just to her power, it would use English “lucky charm,” like how her power is called. We’ve also seen how sometimes her lucky charm is a sign to visit someone, like Master Fu. So, I suspect at some point an identity reveal or something similar will become necessary, and the lucky charm will be their actual lucky charms!

Okay okay so we all saw the long-haired “Kagami” in the vault and I just here going to theory what they’re doing

They’re going to redeem Tomoe

Insert tragic backstory where Tomoe wanted to be actress, but family was strict (or some obstacle appears) and she had to give up on her dreams (soul crushing) which is why she is so hard on Kagami

From here there’s a heart to heart where Tomoe decides to loosen her grip on Kagami, and their relationship improves

This, combined with Zoe, will likely influence Adrien

Why??

Because Kagami’s mum changed, now he and Kagami aren’t the same anymore. How did this change occur?? Through honesty, and vulnerability. It’s the same with Zoe, staying true to yourself no matter how others treat you or pressure you.

So, stuff happens, and Adrien will rebel against his father????

Headcanon that Adrien and Marinette go to a costume party at some point as Inuyasha and Kagome, and Marinette loses track of him, but instead of looking for him like a normal person, she just screams 'INUYASHA!' *cue crashing noises from other side of room* Adrien bursts out of the crowd, 'KAGOME!'. Because Adrien is definitely the type of nerd to love inuyasha, and drag his girlfriend into it as well.

Chat Blanc Spoilers

Im kinda surprised at the lack of hype in regards to a specific fact given to us in Chat Blanc.

You know, how during his confession, Adrien admits that he always had feelings for Marinette but just didn’t realize (until he finds out she’s Ladybug) but emphasis on how he refers to these feelings as something existing prior to this discovery.

So whilst all of Chat Blanc has been retconned out of existence, one tidbit remains. Adrien loves Marinette. He just doesn’t know it.
