Humid weather rolling in from the sea, mingling with the searing heat; creating a rather disgusting day. Not even a faint breeze to alleviate the intense temperature. With the summer months, there was a staggering influx of clients requesting light attire. Virtually every night spent slaving away; trying his very best to keep up. Even with preparing an assortment of clothing beforehand it just wasn’t enough. Time ticked by slowly, it was a combination of the stifling heat and constant customers. Longing for a break, even for a split second. Relief would not come for quite a while. As the day turned to dusk, the shop was near empty. Taking advantage of the pause to begin sewing more clothing for tomorrow. As the seemingly last person exited the shop he gave a light wave and smile. Putting his nose to the grindstone; picking up the speed considerably. A wave of exhaustion catching him off guard, the needle pricking his fingertip. Continuing on as if nothing had happened, in a way nothing had.
Rising from his work desk and making a beeline towards the cellar. He clumsily missed a step on the way down, his face planting directly into the wall at the bottom of the staircase. Shaking his head at himself before he strode towards a few mannequins. Delicately removing the clothing from them before mindfully ascending the steep stairs. Upon reaching the shop level he folded a few shirts; placing them among the others that had been laid out on the table. Next, he began lacing up a fine dress onto a cloth model. That piece, in particular, cost him a heap of coin just to create. Made from the finest fabrics and cuts of precious stones. Jet black with fine crimson details for the seams and beautiful dark grey floral designs stretching along the front and sides. Rubies of the highest quality lined along the top edges of the sweetheart neckline. Along some of the stems and swirls, very small rubies had been fastened into place. This was hands down one of his favorite creations. Wearily returning to his work-space; beginning the process of tidying up for the night.
“You’re staring like you’ve never seen a vampire before."
Averting his gaze for a moment as he opened his mouth to speak. At first no words came out, only to be followed by a clearly awkward laugh. Tugging at his collar some before shaking his head. “Ah- forgive me, I didn’t realize I was staring.” Returning his focus to her eyes as a warm smile formed on his lips. “It matters not to me, you are still you.” Of course it didn’t matter to him, they were of the same species. Desperately searching for anything to change the subject. The worries starting to creep up, what ifs filling his head. Part of him wishing he could be more open about his reality. Too much shame and fear prevented him from doing so. Thin hands stretching out to the bundle of flowers and lavender on the table. Picking them up and extending them towards Eris. “These… Are for you. Lavender, jasmine, chamomile, all perfect for tea.” Over the last few decades, tea had become a staple in his day to day life. Smiling perhaps a little too wide now as sharp teeth briefly peaking out.

The witcher made no motion to draw her sword, despite the other woman’s obvious supernaturality about her. Her medallion wasn’t humming, so that only could mean that the being before her was either some sort of Djinn, a demi-god, or a higher vampire. All results meant that this monster was far too powerful for her to deal with, and since she didn’t seem to be actively attacking her, there was no need to attempt to defend herself.
“Nice teeth. You must floss.” The quip was meant to ease the tension in the air, as monotone as it was. Last thing she wanted was for this... whatever she was, to lunge at her in hostility.

Lovely? The pale lady wouldn’t call this language smooth on the ears. It was a harsh language that did indeed have a soothing flow, depending on what you were saying of course. It was both old and exotic. The sorceress was one of the last save for the few individuals who had survived the cruelty of humans. The great and beautiful beasts of the sky. Dragons. It was a golden one that had taught her.
“Perhaps...Perhaps when you return my necklace to me.” Pale eyes glanced at the crystal that hung from the creature’s neck. It was once a beautiful blue.

Evening visit
@ladycarpenoctem liked your post:Like for a starter. If there’s anything specific...
He detects movement in the dark, and glimpses a shape in the slivers of moonlight breaching the woodland canopy. The disturbance prompts immediate action, bow and arrow drawing post haste. However, Cyreihza refrains from firing upon note of their strange aura. It gives him pause, disarming the outright hostility typically meant for humans. If anything he now finds himself curious, despite the circumstances.
Still he cannot deny caution while he regards his strange visitor. For all he knows this entity has a malicious agenda. Not to mention he has yet to see whether it is sentient or simply a beast. Intelligent or no he addresses them with the intent to discern their nature.
“It’s dangerous to approach a stranger’s camp without announcing yourself.” His tone is cold and sharp, not quite a threat but certainly a warning.

The man simply chuckled. How refreshing it was to allow the charade crumble. Even has he did nothing. The corner of his lip tugged in a grin. Arms resting on his thighs as he sat on smooth surface of a boulder. His hood was drawn up, hiding his face save his lips and chin. Droplets of water fell from the edge of the hood. A dizzy had settled over a handful of hours before.
“Would you believe me if I told you I was a simple sorcerer?” The man said with amusement. Lifting his head as he gazed at the woman. The woman was light of skin while his was darken by the sun. She was a lovely being and her eyes what drew him. The smile wavered for only a moment. She reminded him of a woman he loved. A woman he loves still. The intensely of the color was like hers but gold. Bad tempered but beautiful. However, she feel in love with another. Another that left her and left her and broke her heart.
What was perhaps his most striking feature was too his eyes. Yellow like glitter gold. “But if not a man? Than what am I, my lady?”

❝ T’is such a humbling truth, hunger, for even the gods starve. And starvation begets savagery. ❞
Words of wisdom imparted, emerald pools rose to meet the gaze of the other. A sharp smile tugged at the end of blackened lips and the fallen one pressed a hand to his heart. ❝ I have gone by many names, but the wind calls me Nhiral. For our purposes, this will suffice. And you are Eriseana De Valdedruda. ❞
Taking a step backward, Nhiral formally bows; his movements precise and refined. A practiced gesture. Too long had he spent at his father’s heel not to know the proper manner in which to bow to a lady.
❝ The pleasure, I assure you, is all yours. ❞
