Subbing in 15 for 14 because you followed up and said that was what you meant XD1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?TWELVE. I am now THIRTY-TWO.
My first fic was a Sailor Moon story written in script format. At the time, I had a very old computer we got for $50, which had Windows 3.1 on it. I wrote all my fanfiction in Notepad, because it didn’t have Word yet. The story was about each of the various senshi having a corresponding “knight” like Tuxedo Mask, some of which were existing male characters, and some of which were OCs. Many of the senshi wound up dating their knights, but I kept Haruka and Michiru together.
The story never even made it to ff.net, though. We upgraded the computer to Windows 95, and the fic was gone forever.
15) If you write OC’s, how do you decide on their names?
Instinct mostly. Occasionally babynames.com type stuff. Most of the time I don’t worry about the name meaning so much as the cultural origin or the type of person you picture when you hear a name. Like, I don’t think I’ve described Royce the Office Manager in drag AU much, but... do I need to? His name is ROYCE. I bet you have an idea of what he looks like. XD27) Do you make a general outline for your stories or do you just go with the flow?I used to always pants my stuff out and write wherever the story wanted to go. I also used to abandon stories and never finish my WIPs. Now, I outline a lot. It keeps me from losing the random ideas I get entirely, and knowing what the endgame is for a story helps motivate me to work on it more.50) If you could write only angst, fluff or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?
Definitely not smut. I write a lot of fluff now, but I also get burned out on doing that sometimes. Angst is the spice of life. I guess if I had to do one, I’d go for the angst option. Thanks for asking!
