Strength this morning with @jdmbird19 💜🙌 (absolute babe). Warmed up by sliding for 15 minutes over the ice down on the estate 😭😂. So I genuinely shocked myself this morning. I'm pretty certain back in the day when I was mad lifting I could only crack out 30/32kg on OHP. So I assumed this morning I'd be pretty much back to the bar (20kg). But as you can see I wasn't and to be honest it wasn't even that much like hell. 🤗🙌😄 Deadlift was shit though, I felt my lower back arching way too much and I know I've got a lot of work to do to to get my lower back strengthened again. I had and still do have quite a bit of pain with it and that's because it's weak af. - do you have lower back pain? This is my best friend @deep.within.ferns doing "light" squats at 195lbs. She's lost a butt ton of weight, gained an incredible amount of strength, and she shows no signs of stopping. Through multiple surgeries and back steps, she's only become a stronger person, and she's been gracious enough to share this strength with me. The only reason I've been able to come as far as I have is because she's taught me, trained me, and supported me as a friend and sister.
