Arelette was beyond infuriated. Sure, she’s done a few things to piss a few people off, but it sure as hell didn’t warrant setting everything she owned on fire, including her fucking car. She could have nearly damned died in that fire and she wasn’t about to let the one responsible get away with this without giving them a near-death experience.
The woman in her war-path rage tracked down the only pyrokinetic person she had ever a reasonable interaction with, since it made the most sense to her; Madeline Hyde. She had a motive to ruin her life. A weak one, sure, but a motive nonetheless. The shapeshifter found the woman at a dingy little restaurant, and without regard for property damage, Spartan-kicked the entrance open.
“MADELINE HYDE!” she roared, shoving past the waiter that tried to stop her before stomping up to the table the redhead was seated at.
“My car is on fire and my house is on fire and frankly my life is on fire and you,” she hissed, lifting the woman out of her chair by the front of her shirt, “are a fucking pyrokinetic! So unless you can prove to me that somehow you didn’t do it, I’m going to make sure you’re only able to eat out of a fucking straw for a month!”
