Shiny hunting a wooloo because i just finished my pokedex i'm 140 in

I tried shiny hunting for a Clobbopus. Killed almost 700 of them in the wild, encountered probably around 1500+ total before switching to breeding instead.  I’m  over 200 eggs in so far and no shiny yet. I have been hunting for over a week
