1/2 For the Mazarin anon. He and Anne cared very deeply for each other but there is no solid evidence that they were lovers or ever married. It's unlikely bc Anne was too religious for the former and as for marriage, Mazarin had been considering being ordained shortly before he died. He was also Louis XIV's godfather, so them being married or having a physical relationship would have been considered incest by the church. Anne said that her love for him was "a love of the spirit" and not the body

Ohh that’s interesting! Thanks for sending me this I didn’t know this! I suppose there are many different sides to the story and we’ll never really know what happened or didn’t happen between them, whether they were lovers or not. It’s interesting though why people would think they had a secret relationship and why some would say that Mazarin was Louis XIV real father if nothing ever did happen, but I guess them being close would fuel rumors, especially at that time and at a royal court!

I wonder if we might get a dream/fantasy sequence? To keep the ship alive since they'll prob be keeping their distance for a while? Have Aramis dreaming of Anne as "an ordinary woman" and being with her and their son in public (but then he wakes up at the monastery). Or Anne sees him among a group of Musketeers only to do a double take and see she was just imagining him there. It would prob work best in the first ep though and idk if the writers would want to do another first ep dream scene?

Ohh I wish! I think that’s a great idea, and as you said, it would be a great way to sort of keep the ship alive without them actually risking anything because it would just be a dream/fantasy. I wouldn’t mind getting a dream scene like the one Constance had in s2 ;) 

It would make sense for Aramis to be dreaming about Anne and his son while he is at the monastery, I don’t think that would be too much of a strech to be honest! But yeah, I don’t know if they writes would do something like that again, but I honestly at this point have no idea which in direction the writers have taken s3 :o

I assume/hope that because the crucifix was so important to Aramis and the plot, that we'll learn what happened to it and the new necklace (def different chains) will have SOME significance. Since his other necklace is missing too, I think he took both off when he became a monk and sent them back with the boys or they'll be left at the monastery. As for the new necklace, I don't see him replacing the crucifix easily. THE DREAM is that it's a locket with a pic of the dauphin that Anne gives him

I hope so! I agree, I think he most likely took off all of his belongings when he came to the monastery. I just hope he kept it and didn’t leave it there or throw it away, which I don’t think he would do as it means too much to him. Oooh I like that idea!!! It would be too risky though, for him to go around wearing a locket with a picture of the dauphin, and I don’t think Aramis would risk it. But as you said, it would be THE DREAM :)

While this book has nothing to do with superheroes or transportation, 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie' b/c that cookie is just the best.

I looked the book up on Barnes & Noble's website and it's so cute! It would be perfect for him. He loves food and he sounds like Mickey Mouse.

Over here we have a series called 'Early Readers' and there are different stages. Lots of stories geared towards adventure/superheroes

Yeah, I know about readers. I used to work for DK Publishing and our big sellers were always our Readers series. I also know that there are other simialr series out there (I'm getting publishing flashbacks as I type this). I wanted to get some feedback and not go into Christmas shopping without any ideas. Thank you!

Ran out of characters! I would ask at a local book shop because I bet there's something similar in the US. There are lots of things geared up to those interests, which if my boys are anything to go by, seem pretty universal interests!

Thank you again! I would say that he does have a lot of the stereotypical boy interests. However, he does like Frozen, which tends to be associated with girls more than boys. I've passed a children's book shop several times in New York. I might stop in there when I go in on Wednesday and talk to the owner or clerk to get their feedback.

Yeah me too. It was just such a formalized event that it seems like the named characters should all have been accounted for in the script.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit odd, especially since Sybbie was there. You’d think if he was ~boycotting~ it he’d have Sybbie with him. Prob option 3 but I’ll go with option 4 that he and Sybil sneaked away for some alone time ;)
